Looking for highland cow hides

Hi guys, I'm looking for a few square feet of highland cow hide (with hair on) to make a sporran for a customer...I've seen there are a few places that sell whole hides, but I'm not looking for that much...any of you have knowledge of a decent source?

Well, good luck with that. I had a quick look around , none in your area that I could see . 

Although theres one or two in Oz I noticed. Too far for you though. 

 I am also looking for Camel hides here in Oz , I'd be happy with just  a few off-cuts. We have heaps of wild camels in Oz  that are culled because they are a pest in some parts. They sell the meat & milk, but I can never find out where the hides  go , O/S I guess and come back as ex$y handbags . 

The hides are quite soft..... apparently

This is an old thread. The OP has possibly not been on here since May 2020

In the interests of information: try IKEA. Not too long ago (last December 2020) I saw they were selling hides with hair on as rugs or chair throws. The prices and sizes varied from modest to ' no-way hosay!!'. Hides included sheep, goat, possibly highland cow and other types
