Nice.  That's a big change from how it looked.

What type of paint did you use?

Will you be sharing pictures of how it goes back together as well?

Hi Scoutmom

For the inside, I used a normal metal paint.

For the outside, I used Hammorite primer and a danish hammorite paint.

It looks really good.

Kind regards

Søren

I have been working on various PFAFF machines, so I have not had time for the skiving machine.

However, I as am waiting for parts for my PFAFF 335 restoration, I have time to work on the Dania skiving machine.

I am planning to fit two motors in order to give it independent feed.

Also, I heard of someone, who had modified a vacuum cleaner to make it fit to a skiving machine. Anyone heard of this?

Kind regards

Soren

Would you be so kind to put up pics as you put the skiver back together?  And any mods you make like the two motors and a vacuum extractor.

Starting to put the machine back together.

I took apart in August, so it takes a bit of time to figure out, where the different screws go.

99% done now.

I only need to find a bakelite knob and a spring.

And then to prepare the table and motors

looking very nice.  Did you have a engineers manual for this, or trial and error?

Hi Scoutmon

This is my fourth skiving machine, so I am getting to know the basics.

I have three more to restore.

Kind regards

Søren
