Halloween masks, what cha' got?

With every one wearing a mask because of the pandemic and Halloween  getting close. I would think you guys would be making a mask for this year.

Thanks! I want to make a plague doctor mask soon, but tool it all up! Are they difficult to make?

Made this the year before last for the office Halloween party and won. $20 Starbucks gift card and bragging rights for the entire year was super worth it.

NO,  the difficult part was figuring out where to start and stop sewing.

I've got the pattern from 'DieselpunkRO'   This one :  https://www.etsy.com/uk/listing/637482329/plague-doctor-mask-pattern-diy-pattern?ref=related-1&pro=1

He does a number of different styles. His instructions are to sew from the head towards to the point of the beak along the bottom join then from the tip to the eyes along the top join. He also does some very good instructional videos

I've the pattern pieces cut out, I really must translate them onto leather

Yeah, yours is different than mine, Mine also came from Tony .  The way mine is built if you do the beak first you are painting yourself  in the corner

Get yours going.  I would like to see it

Fun post!

Here's my Halloween projects.  My wife will be the plague nurse in the white mask and hat. I'll be the plague doctor wearing black half-mask and hat. 

I'll follow up with some full costume poses after the weekend.

The leather is all 6-7 ounce veg-tan from Tandy. I get the white by applying 3 or 4 coats of cheap white shoe polish to the flesh side and then sealing with liquid floor wax. The black on the skull bag was obtained with vinegroon. The black on the half-mask is Fiebings pro dye with floor wax finish.
