Members richA25 Posted November 27, 2020 Members Report Posted November 27, 2020 Are anodized, or black rivets a thing? I have standard copper rivets, but want to change it up a little. To clarify, I’m looking for the rivet with washer, not a double cap style. Does such a thing exist? I think Tandy sells an aluminum version but, it’s rated at light usage only. Otherwise, I’ve never seen them in any other color. Quote
Contributing Member fredk Posted November 27, 2020 Contributing Member Report Posted November 27, 2020 I've only ever seen them in copper. But you can get a chemical which blackens brass and copper. I'll see if I can find my bottle of it and get the name Quote Al speling misteaks aer all mi own werk..

CFM tsunkasapa Posted November 27, 2020 CFM Report Posted November 27, 2020 Brass Black will turn it black, but it is not durable. I have used it on the brass hardware on rifles and it will wear off with use. Quote Hoka Hey! Today, tomorrow, next week, what does it matter?
