Hello, I just finished up this 1911 Holster. I wanted to try a floral carving again. I feel this one came out better and more detailed than my first one but there is still much to improve upon.

Thanks Josh. One of these days I want to try a Brill holster but haven't decided to tackle that one just yet. Been studying some of the construction methods for when I do try it out.

In the "technical" sense, your beveling around the design is quite choppy. But on this project, I kinda don't mind it -- gives the whole thing a different look.  That design been around like 70 years, so it's good to see it done a bit differently.

Thank you. I am always looking to improve and try new things. On this one I ended up using a smooth pear shader for that. Not typical but was trying something out.
