Members zuludog Posted January 28, 2021 Members Report Posted January 28, 2021 Like many other things in life, I tried it once but didn't like it Was it Bernard Shaw? who said that you should try everything in life, except incest and Morris Dancing? Quote
Members billybopp Posted January 29, 2021 Members Report Posted January 29, 2021 Well, ya know. You've got this little tiny piece that needs to be burnished. You forgot to bring a cup of water with you. The kitchen is way over on the other side of the house. Well, things happen. - Bill Quote
Members maxdaddy Posted January 29, 2021 Members Report Posted January 29, 2021 Guilty. It probably wasn't the worst thing I've ever put my tongue on now that I think of it. Quote
CFM Hardrada Posted January 29, 2021 CFM Report Posted January 29, 2021 (edited) Licked it? No. Spit into my anatomical snuff box and then dip my finger in the saliva therein and apply it onto an edge? Yes. Not my standard practice, though. For the important things in life, there's saliva; for anything else there's Tokonole. Edited January 29, 2021 by Hardrada Quote
Members Handstitched Posted January 29, 2021 Members Report Posted January 29, 2021 Is there a recipe for leather? A BBQ rub or a marinade perhaps? Might make it taste a bit better, and washed down with a beer or a nice cab sav or a pinot ? But no, I haven't done that and never will. I'd be concerned about the chemicals thats in leather. I'll stick with a drop of water from my spray bottle . HS Quote

Members TonyV Posted January 30, 2021 Members Report Posted January 30, 2021 I've gone the indirect route, licked my finger first to apply the water. Quote
