JWheeler331 Report post Posted February 11, 2021 (edited) If possible, I make a wooden jig that holds the leather with just the edge up so I can burnish it without it being flimsy. If you have a stitching pony you could put it in there with just the edge up and do the same thing. Another thing I have done is....... if you have a burnished that will go into a drill press you can pull the leather tight and burnish it there. Pulling it tight will help to keep it straight.
