Cracked clay stone

This is a 3 inch x 3 inch leather cutout. They clay color background  was what I wanted.

 When I started touching up the idea that i thought cracked clay would look different.

and this is how it turned out.

Thank you. Could have used less cracks than again once you start pounding it's hard to stop.

Thank you. Less would have been better. I have a bunch of those squares and thought that making

them look like stepping stones in a garden would be a good idea.

I am liking that very much.   It  speaks to my eyes. [that sounds silly. but was my first impression]

 

just a weird thought.  If you have a bunch of these, and were to cover them in a clear epoxy, 

you could tile a back stop or table top
