Lollipops here usually have round sticks and popsicles , ice-cream bars and the like have flat sticks so i just didn't know which you were talking about. Quote Worked in a prison for 30 years if I aint shiny every time I comment its no big deal, I just don't wave pompoms. “I won’t be wronged, I won’t be insulted, and I won’t be laid a hand on. I don’t do these things to other people, and I require the same from them.” THE DUKE!
Members Sheilajeanne Posted October 17, 2021 Author Members Report Posted October 17, 2021 (edited) Yeah, just giving that clarification for those in the U.K. And round N. American lollipop sticks would suck as glue-spreading tools... . So, popsicle sticks for the win... Edit: if you remember the Jan and Dean version of this song, you are OLD!! Members jcuk Posted October 17, 2021 Members Report Posted October 17, 2021 (edited) I think they mean ice lolly sticks, nearly the same as the tongue depressors doctors and vets use. Edited October 17, 2021 by jcuk Quote

Come on now, no one twisted your arm and made you watch it! Yeah, the popsicle sticks look like mini tongue depressors. And, as the song says, kids can use them to build things. Quote

If not, how to you prevent the "char" from getting on lighter color thread? What is it you are making using the laser cutter for your patterns? Make complete bags, even cut belts. Its a 150W laser cutter with a 60x43" bed. I do sometimes use other threads, black mainly. My air assist helps get rid of soot in the holes for the most part. The first 2 inches of the thread a will get a little bit of soot but give yourself extra so you don't get into that. With cloth interiors that I cut, no soot whatsoever. Quote
