Beaverslayer Report post Posted October 18, 2007 Kevin, very nicely done. I like the red thread that you used, adds some nice contrast to the seat. Ken
McJeep Report post Posted January 16, 2009 Nice looking seat :0) Coupla newb questions: What tool did you use for the inlay - really like the effect, and How do you mark where to punch the holes in the cover for riveting? I see the holes are pre-drilled in the pan ... do you just pull the leather tight at each pre-drilled hole and mark the leather with an awl for the rivet hole? Me thinks I'll be investing in an air rivet gun now LOL Thanks much for the tutorial - it answered a lot of my questions :0)

Jimbob Report post Posted July 1, 2011 Kevin..... Been looking at this seat tutorial a few times and now realize you are using the same air pop rivet gun I have gotten from Harbour freight....with the small detail that mine seems NOT to work....I can not figger out how much oil I need to put in where....The manual does NOT tell u the amount of oil....have added about a cup of hydraulic oil and made the biggest mess possible...oil on shirt and walls...haha....now very little oil in resovair but still no go...it will not grabb the rivet and make a connection....any ideas what I do wrong... I love this seat tutorial....well I love all your work,,,,,hehehe,,,,you are an true artist! James
