I see a lot here have mastered the box stitch ....... I couldn't even get to acceptable . So this is a cheat that I use and has worked well for me .

Finally finished this game set for #1 favourite dottir Not that it took me very long but I meant to give it to her for last Christmas! She's coming over for a visit next week so I thought I'd better finish it! The Board; MDF covered with a purple coloured chrome tan and the playing area is veg tan, stamped and lines gouged, and then glued onto the board The box and its contents; The dice tray, which has her shortened name on it in Elder Futhark Runes And the dice cup. Veg tan leather, flesh side out and a piece of embossed 'snake' (?) skin leather glued on the outside …

Had a friend ask me about a 4 finger cigar case to hold her cigars for the day. This is the first one off of the forms that a friend made me. Now to make 3 and 2 finger cases.

I have been practicing my cutting/stitching/etc, so today I thought I would try my skills at making a cigar case. I have everything cut, glued and stitched. Tomorrow I am going to burnish and then wet mold it, I hope

Here is my attempt at a cigar case, threw in a zippo case as well. Not too bad for my first go at it, I guess. And one thing I did learn, don't buy cigars from that damned wooden Indian, lol!

No top because I want it to be open at the top. 4 X 4 X 5 inch box for my tackle box. I'm still learning. I couldn't think of how I was going to stitch this and finally thought about a Box Stitch. I was in Tandy and asked the Customer Rep what he thought would look nice and he said Box. I had been dreaming of trying it so away I went. Lots of sweat and blood went into this. When Skiving I slipped with my utility knife and slit my wrist. 7 stitches later and I was able to start working on it again. The bag, which is going to be a shooting bag, isn't done yet. Following the instructions I need to skive the sides of the bag. I'm a little knife shy righ…
