    Ten years ago this was one of the most active forums on-line, lots of new posts every day. Now it seems like very little is going on here. I know that I have retired. Has everyone else retired also?

    I have seen the most beautiful work here and have learned a library full of information, but I have also noticed that nobody ever says one negative "needs to improve" comment. In art school, we had weekly critiques that included "that sucks" type of comments, and why. It really helped to strive for perfection. I know that this site does wonders to promote the craft of leather working for beginners(myself included) and answers to questions to many technical difficulcties for others that actually know what they are doing, but I am suggesting that a sub forum be created for serious and dedicated people that could be judged harshly and honestly in order to achieve the …

    IS there a 'bitch, whine, complain' section? You know, like the 'show off' section, or the supplier section. Or, is that BWC normally JUST ME ... NOT FOR THE FIRST TIME, I got a message from a fella - wants a belt that tapers (and shows a pic attached of a ranger belt). And gimme an estimate for cow, shark, stingray, elephant, and sumthin else... cuz "I don't want to spend a fortune" I don't even have a source for some of that. ANybody know where to get stingray 50" long for under $1k?

    Calendar for Guild Events

    I think this has been brought up before, but I wonder if it would be possible to have a separate calendar for guild events, regular meetings, etc. I think it would be nice to have a section where guilds could post meeting info and special events so that people can be made aware of them and I don't have a problem with them even being on the main calendar. The problem is, if several guilds were to post recurring events on the main calendar, it would get really cluttered and the other one time events might be hard to find. It might be helpful if there was a way that recurring events didn't show up more than once on the calendar and then once that one passed, the next one wa…

    So it's accepted to brandish the 'southern flag' on this forum? I'm just wondering if it's then ok to brandish the German WW2 flag too, if my great grandpa fought for the motherland? Or any other racist political side that eventually lost their conflict - just for people, generations later, to complain about it - even though they clearly benefited from it - growing up in a safe conflict free environment, so they could voice their freedom of speech and god given right to idolize a movement that values ignorance and narrow mind views.     I've posted replies this morning and I wish to edit the typos out of, at least one..lol I'm sure that there should be an 'edit' button near to the 'Report' Multiquote' and 'Quote' buttons, but its not there today..     Hi ...I sent the admin a message thru the contacts. Haven't heard back yet. When I click on the drop down menu to get into my mail...it always sends me to my profile. No matter how fast I am with the cursor...it won't open my mailbox. Only way I can get into it...is if someone sends me an email and I click on the little notification box. Opens fine...but I can never get back into it. Thanks! Russ

    Maybe I'm doing something wrong - but when I click on a Member to go to their profile and click Find/List Posts - there will be perhaps 4 posts listed when the member really has say 1,000. As if I'm blocked or relegated to seeing only a couple posts out of much more. Am I doing something wrong? Thank you
