  1. The question is for feedback on the Tippmann. Whether a 15 ton is sufficient or not is irrelevant if the press indeed does not perform the 15 tonnage. And if it does not, then I would be hesitant to ask the supplier for their input. But yes, I suppose I could mail the dies and material in for a trial run.
  2. I'm in the market for a 15 ton press whether the Tippmann or a standard hydraulic clicker. Anyone have any feedback on the Tippmann? I've read a few statements that claim it does not hold to a true 15 tons of pressure, but again those are far and few between. Tippmann claims it can cut 1/2" leather. I think the thickest I would be cutting is 1/4", but those will be very intricate 30" dies with up to fifty(50) 1/16" to 1/8" punch holes. Not here to bash the name, but need transparent feedback on actual performance.
  3. Brand new and never assembled, these 12 tons have been out of stock for almost a year. I reached out to Buckle Guy and they happened to have one tucked away in their warehouse and let it go to me. I'm switching to a Tippman and my space is super tight so I am going to let this 12 ton go. Weaver's heaviest press is 8 tons, this has two adjustable handle heights to deliver the tonage you need. Forewarning though, the handle extension required to deliver the 12 tonnage is quite tall, make sure your space can accommodate it if you do indeed need more than 8 tonnage of press. From Buckle Guy with taxes and freight is probably around $3,800. Save some dollars here and not to mention you can't buy one right now from Buckle Guy if you wanted. They communicated they do not know when this will be back in stock and available. Asking $3,100 Located in Sacramento, CA. You must move/bring help to move if local pickup, the head is over 400lbs. I use UShip.com quite often to move bulky and heavy items, will help load on my end if buyer goes that route.
  4. I agree there, had I intended to use it as seen I would have been up the creek without a paddle! Definitely a lesson learned and the last time I have one simply strapped against the wall and go. @kgg has me thinking on the 3D print idea, never thought about that so thanks!
  5. Appreciate the feedback, but I think my point may have been missed. Again, I only made this purchase for the machine head. I understand the difference between quality board and non-quality board, hence why I'm trashing Weaver for ever mounting anything on a particle board. New stand, new servo, new top, new reducer, new attachments all done. I was simply asking where I may source a Winkel Angle.
  6. Was perfect before my shipper grabbed it. I had no idea it was particle. Just why Weaver? Cost?
  7. Oh yea it obliterated it. For whatever reason, during Adlers 205 white run, Weaver installed them on particle board. Both those boards are particle and they just fell apart due to vibration. Machine was secured, but when you put something on cheap board like that, well you're asking for it. Bought the setup just for the machine, it's going on a new stand, new boards, etc. But yea I really wanted to keep the head setup as factory as possible as it has very few hours on it. Maybe someone who's not running a guard will hook me up? $$$ of course.
  8. Does anyone for the life of me know where I can buy a Winkel Angle that the belt guard attaches to? It broke during transit from bouncing and/or vibration I'm assuming. Campbell Randall was unable to source one. I know every reproduction 205 comes with one, but how do I get my hands on one?
  9. Sold
  10. Price reduced to $4,400.
  11. No gloves, respirator, ppe of any type WITH the cigarette in full affect while laying down that paint yikes!
  12. Any particular reason why you're selling after one use? Not up to snuff?
  13. Correct, but the store wanted to argue that and throw poor customer service my way. Corporate was great, customer services at the stores is horrendous.
  14. I will add that BG is currently out of stock on the 12-Ton. I only know because I reached out myself 4 weeks ago and they do not know when it will be back in stock. Thankfully they had a prototype version in the warehouse that they discounted me on. Also, the 12-ton is advertised as 8 tons when utilizing the shorter handle, 12 tons with the longer handle. Does this mean you can slap a longer handle on a Weaver 8-Ton and achieve 12 tons? I don't know myself, but very well may be the case.
  15. This machine has been sold.
