  1. Yeah Tom don't worry about us, just get better.
  2. Thanks Terribletest. I had one of her books already from past armour making. I might get the rest...lots of ComicCon's and Ren festivals coming up.
  3. Which Helmet/helm where you thinking T? there are several in Skyrim.
  4. I would love to get this pattern and instructions as well. My lady friend saw this and is over the moons.
  5. it is meant to look like a ravens beak. Ravens were harbringers of death and disease in Medieval Europe
  6. I think I'll try anyway. My mom taught me how to use sewing patterns and how to adjust them, so it may help.
  7. Thanks Blackey. Yes I have been looking at their stuff. Tell you all why I'm looking. This duster is my "exam" project, so I can continue working with a master leatherworker of 42 yrs experience. So far He likes my work ethic, repair skills and attention to detail. Sounds lame to some people, but I have and can continue to learn more from him. So I am looking for a pattern that can adapt between Western, Goth and Steampunk. As an exdraftsman, pattern making isn't an issue usually, however it takes time to create one from scratch. And I have to admit to being a perfectionist when it comes to pattern making.
  8. I may go that route but it is an expensive pattern
  9. Does anyone have a duster pattern that can be modified for Steampunk, Goth, etc?
  10. I would look anything you release. Hard to find Steampunk patterns and there is a fairly large group in my area
