I think i need to make my self clear when i sead tips and tricks what i mean is stuff that as leather craft masters you have come up with over the yers to make your work easyer and faster. things that you can't find in a video or book. for example as a floring installer i had many triks that i develope to mak the jobs easer and faster. just wanted to clear that up sorry i was so vage i am on some pain meds for a broken tooth and i can get a little loopy

Welcome glad to have you here nice boots. where do you get your lasts? i am aspiering to make my own boots it is nice to have moor boot makers here to share there work it gives me a lot of insperation to keep striving to get better at the craft that i enjoy doing Bikerd69(don)

i never thought of using gasget material that sounds like a good idea. i usualy use foam bord or hevy card stock. and to sto them i make a portfolio for the foam bord out of cardboard and duck tape and for the card stock i use report covers in a binder

is there any houshold products that i can use to clean leather befor i carve and dye it? i know deglazer is what i should use just can't aford it right now will get some when i can.

Hay every one, I just wanted to say that i realy like this forum i check un it every day. i would like to learn every thing i can about leathercrafts any tips tricks ideas ect. you have just let me know. Thanks for being on this forum and posting your work and ideas it is very helpful. nice to see what others are doing. here in baltimore there is not much in the way of leathercrafters that i know of and we only have one tandy store here so it is a small grupe of people in a big city so again thanks for being here and sharing your knolage and body of work it is insperational to newbees like me Always learning Bikerd69

What is a ssddle puse an i would like to get a pattern to it sounds cool

Here is an ipod nano case pattern the stitching holes need to be determined by the maker and the fastening of the bottome to ( snap/ velcro / magnet ect) belt loop is your choice have fun ( print on 8 1/2 x 11 paper) ( can be resized to fit the ipod classic just transfer the mesurments from the clasic to this pattern) Bikerd69
