Howdy pards.. I´ve used my havy leadhammer to make good impressions with my makerstamps (new one to the right), had to hit it so hard that things fall down from the walls :-\ But now I´ve made a press on the most simple way, I bought a jack and welded it together on my work, saved hundreds of $$$$$ ;D And my friend Dick (rebsr52339) bought the Frank James Holster Rosette Stamps for me from Mr Ghormley so I could pay him by paypal. On those beautis I still have to use the leadhammer, dont know if I dare to cut the handles and use them in the press ???

Tom, do u thing I´m made of money, I cut them :-) I used a 9 ounce leather and lined it with 5 ounce suede. The color is Eco-Flo Gel Antique Dk. Brown with a coat of Super Shene. It took me about 8 hours to make 5 of them is sewing :-( but i dont want to use a machine..... yet. If I want to live at the stuff I make then I think I needs a machine, atleast for the long stitching.. Tanx for all the nice feedback pards:You_Rock_Emoticon:

3:10 To Yuma Rig
Boothill Bob replied to Boothill Bob's topic in Gun Holsters, Rifle Slings and Knife Sheathes
Tanx.. I have age it a little with steelwool and then I used two layer of extra virgin oliv oil. It works perfect vith the stopper, the holster stay in place and totaly fixed. -
Hello out there.. Here I´ve made a rig for a friend. The modell is the rig Russel Crowe use in 3:10 to Yuma. Its a verry popular holster for the moment and fun to make to. Had a little problem to make the crossdraw stay angeld, so I made a "stopper", belive that he want it fixed when he draw and reholster the gun.
-
Thanx Eric and 50.. If I´m going to sell them than I can send a plastic cover with the frame to protect the photo.. Dident think of the oil in the leather :brainbleach:
