Yes I did using a curved awl.

Lacing looks good too Fanninator! I found with the stitching, you have to really work it afterwards to get out the unwanted awl marks. I had to wet the area real good and rub with a bone folder until I was satisfied .

Believe it or not, this is a case for a violin! It's called a Wipl-Stik, I believe. Constructed from 8-9 oz. leather. Colored with artist's acrylics. Satin finish. -
