I have been involved with leather work for three years now. I am a teacher by day, and an artist whenever I get a free moment ( photographer, woodworker and now aspiring leather worker). I also spend a lot of time outdoors hiking, camping, riding, and have worked as a hunting camp cook. My dutch oven beer chicken is always a hit!

I got started in leather work making hand-stitched, leather bound books for artists. I use 70-100 pound art paper, make the "sides", then hand-stitch them into leather covers. Eventually I wanted to decorate the leather, and like everyone else here, I was hooked. Now I make and sel hand-stitched, books, portfolios, refillable notebook covers, etc.
