I need to make some wooden dummies of a single stack .380 mag for molding mag pouches. Problem is I don't have a .380. Can someone take a pair of calipers to a mag? Interested in the thickness, and the width front to back.

I must have been too late on the mags. I sent a PM about wanting the 3 inch 1911 earlier, but the message says it wasn't read yet. Wanted to make sure you saw it.

Just got this one in the mail yesterday. Only seen a couple other Henckels round knives for sale in the last...oh, 4 years I suppose. One of them was in Eastern Europe somewhere (don't remember exactly.) This one was in Florida. Has a nice ring to it when tapped.

I'd like to see others' experience as well. I'm trying to remember how much was on the other back that I've cut a bunch into. That one was the best chunk of leather I've ever had, so it probably didn't have as much as my other one (which I bought at the same time.)
Don't know whether it's excessive or not, but I just checked a skirting back I got a couple months back from W&C (that I've cut very little out of so far. The others don't have enough left to tell,) and mine has the same amount as yours, with the same size cutout for the front leg.

If you're talking about the area at the upper right corner, that may be part of the neck. Feel the temper on both the area at the top that you think may be belly (not just the part that juts out, but the whole length) , then on the other side where it's cut straight. The least firm of the two should give you your answer.

Yep, ALD lists double shoulders up to 10-11 oz. Roger Folmar of RJF Leather has double shoulders up to 10-11 oz. as well. He's in Elmira NY, and his shipping is very reasonable out here to AZ, so should be even better to PA

Wickett and Craig has a distributor in Canada. A quick internet search only pulled up this. Just a phone number with no website info.

I saw more contact info in an issue of Shop Talk magazine maybe a year ago, but I don't have it handy at the moment.

That is some first class stuff Mattsh! Someone's going to have a Merry Christmas! I really like the 1.5 stitching. That's what I call it where it's double stitched around the perimeter of the gun, and single on the border of the holster. I've only done one like that so far. Need to do more. I also like how the black edges go with the black belt loops.

Pretty much what the title says. I'm looking at getting a holster plate for my Artisan Toro 3000. I put up a WTB ad for one, and want to know if I could use one from a Cobra, Cowboy, Techsew, etc.
