  1. Thanks for the info I will check those brands out. Has anyone used Angelus paints?
  2. Sorry I have been using dyes but wanted to start using some paints to add some new dimensions to my work.
  3. Have you tried using an air brush to apply dye? I give my leather one real light coat of neetsfoot oil let dry overnight then hit it with an airbrush. With the air brush you can control the amount or color really easily. I bought a cheap air brush for around $12 USA. Good luck also I use only sprirt dyes and have given up on ECO dye from Tandy.
  4. Hello all I have just started using an air brush for dying my leather and had a question. What brands of paint are people using out there? Hoping to learn from some of the more experienced members before putting out the cash and having to learn the expensive way! As always I thank you for your feedback.
  5. This was made for my 3 year lod niece as a Christmans present.
  6. This is my first seat completed thanks to all the great information everyone shares here. I purchased the foam for Foam N More they shipped fast and price was good. Working the leather in the tight curves was a bit difficult bit I made it. It's a bit of a self portrait if I had no skin!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Equiss, This was a Tandy kit that I bought and before making the kit I created a pattern from it so I could reproduce them. Below is the link to it. It has a money clip on the inside and additional card holders. I posted some additional pictures of it in my gallery. http://www.tandyleatherfactory.com/en-usd/home/department/Kits/44010-00.aspx
