  1. Thank you for the kind words, and thank you for your service. You have my attention! Sorry the title was misleading, wasn't trying to fool you into looking.
  2. Just finished this for myself, It is a modified 1911 pattern mag pouch. (Thanks again for the pattern jls) I got the interior stitch lines a little closer than I should have, but it does retain well.
  3. Just wanted to thank you for the patterns JLS... I used the mag pouch as a multitool pouch.
  4. Found this; http://www.whitechapel-ltd.com/product/besc/192ECU5.html It's called an escutcheon, but it is huge! Further googling might find better choices.
  5. What an eye catcher! Well done!
  6. everything about this piece is gorgeous, but the colors are outstanding!
  7. Thank you Jim.
  8. Thanks Chris.
  9. Beautiful work, guybell!
  10. Thanks Oldtoolsniper, I've never turned a pen but I do other turning for sure. The finish is teak oil and I have since lacquered the copper to keep oxidation down.
  11. Made this for the spare curved awl blade I had. It is walnut with poplar and bloodwood inlay in a celtic knot pattern. The ferrule is a copper pipe cap, that polished up nicely.
  12. Well done! Good color and clean tooling.
  13. Thank you Jim, the pattern and instructions are top notch.
  14. Super clean tooling, and excellent artwork. Thanks for sharing that with us.
