    rebuilding my shovelhead and remaking the seat from pan up..made a new lace cutter and am contemplating rawhide for the edges any thought from you braiders??

      Rawhide will shrink if it gets wet and dries out won't it?

      Rawhide can get saggy and stretch if it gets wet, and re-tighten as it dries--but maybe not as evenly. It can also smell when it gets damp or wet.

      Yea looks ain't everything so probably not going that route any longer I'm sure I could sno seal the raw hide and it would be fine but. ..
