  1. Thank you, Yeah the single 10 round would be pretty slimline and easy to wear on a belt. may have to try one.
  2. Sure thing cowboy, will take a pic of my pattern tomorrow when I get home from work and post it up, I,ve used same pattern for this as the rifle ones also posted just altered the size accordingly to fit the insert.
  3. Similar to my other post but these are for rifle ammo,30 Cal in this case,
  4. Thanks,, Yeah it was a 20 round insert from a box but guy only wanted 12 so I cut it down.
  5. Made this for a vetinary guy who does humane dispatches on farms etc, wanted something for his belt to carry 9mm ammo in, has plastic insert to keep rounds secure. measures 3x2x1 1/2 inches with 1 1/2 inch belt loop.
  6. Looks great on leatherwork though chrome rivets clash with clasp and overall finish..
  7. AH!! Right, afraid I dont have one yet but would like one very much, it obviously makes a difference.
  8. Great job there, Tell me please how the hell you keep the back so clean when dying the leather????
  9. FIRST-Awesome work on the "Betty" seat Bro looks brilliant!!!! Was asked by a guy at the local shooting range to make him some leather sheaths for the bolts of his 4 rifles wanted something he could put on a belt when out n about, These are what I came up with.. 3 mm Veg tan with a 5mm natural veg tan lace, coloured with diluted mid tan feiblings then coated with neatsfoot compound,

good idea, seems to work well.
  17. Brmax, Hi, thanks for your comments,Braiding comes good with practice my friend, each one I do gets better, The memory foam I used is a 1 inch thick memory foam mattress cover that I bought and cut up as I needed.I cut and shape using an electric carving knife. Lessyl Hi, again thanks for your comments, To finish the seat after colour I used an antiquing paste/polish,on with sponge and off with micro fibre cloth, I then applied 3 coats of Resoline diluted 50/50 allow to dry n buff, then 3 coats @ 70 /30 allow to dry n buff, and finished with 3 or 4 coats of neat resoline buffed up with microfibre cloth when dry. Obviously leather is never 100% w/proof but this makes it water repellant for showers etc, I advise clients to use a waterproofing balsam for general maintainance.
  18. Guy gave me a picture, I used it, He called it a "predator" not being a sci fi nerd ,I do not know, But thanks for your comment on the work..
