Choker Necklace Sizing
Leather Girl replied to mrdabeetle's topic in Collars, Cuffs, Leashes and Leads
I make collars and chokers all the time for people and I go with an adjustable size. This is because some people if they gain or lose weight so does their neck. If they have thyroid issues that women can have a bigger neck because of it. Also I get a lot of cross dressers and TG'S looking for collars and chokers and necklaces. Adjustable saves trying to make ones for every size. I also tag them and say fits 13.5 - 16.5. If they want a custom made one then measure their neck and add two inches for buckles and at least another two for expansion. Randi-Lee -
A Second Life For Shoes
Leather Girl replied to Phil2011's topic in Shoes, Boots, Sandals and Moccassins
Phil, Your mocs are great!. I think if I double or triple the sole I could put them on my medieval shoes and boots. The would have to have leather water retardant on them and be redone after wearing them every few times; more if it was wet out. Thank you, Phil, you may have helped me solve a problem. Randi-Lee -
Love those sandals. What is the sole that you used? Randi-Lee

Good on you, I have a Cobra 4 and loving it. I got it because it does everything I want and almost up to an inch of thickness which is important to me. I hope you love it. Randi-Lee

The boots are fantastic and the tooling on the quiver is fantastical! Both are amazingly beautiful. Randi-Lee I just love the colour, the style and concho used on them. Randi-Lee -

I thought I had posted on here but guess I didn't. I am not new to leather been doing it since 8 years old. I am always something new or a new way to do it. Right now I am waiting with bated breath for my very first leather sewing machine. I am tired of the blood, sweat and tears way, mainly the blood and tears. I have practically blown up my home sewing machines trying to sew suede on them. I like to specialize in unusual items: fetish wear, medieval wear for horses and people. I want to try making medieval style boots and shoes but finding the soles, uppers etc. is a real chore here. I also want to make some fetish boots with a lower heel because many folks myself included have large calves and the boots they make are for 5 year olds in the calf. So I am here and happy to say hi to all of you from the great white North. Leather girl
