  1. If you can cut leather you can draw. I started 10 min a day you will surprise yourself what you can come up with.
  2. Very good job, I have friend that wants me to make one. I have always put a hole in the plug, for dirt and water to drain.

  6. C23 Thanks for the complement, was trying to make it look old and used. This was my 2ed holster of this type working on the left hand at present. The toe cap was the easy part, its maching the short plug up. To burnish the edges when i do, i use saddle or Ivory soap and heavy canvas clothe. Rub the heck out of it also dampen it first.   9. In my shop I found a bottle os Sodium Sulfite. I think it was for cleansing leather. The jar of Oxalic Acid I know was for cleaning.
  10. Neats foot oil with dark brown oil dye, after a dip in black water tank (rust tank). I want them to look old I think they do.
  11. The holster on left is F.O.Baird pattern, right is Will Ghormley pattern. Both are good patterns, tooling takes some practice as you can see.

  14. I picked up Cambell Randell I love it, it was used. Also Singer 45K25 old but good.
  15. Just picked up a singer 251 – 12, at a garage sale. Looking for a roller foot anyone know where one can be purchased. Also any experience with this type of machine for sewing leather?
