Well I think we all know where "THOSE PEOPLE" CAN GO! If any of my clients complain because they where stupid... Maybe they can speak with the complaint department:)

OK NOW I AM SLAKING! I have this customer I have been putting off and now her seat is in my workroom...adding BS stuff to it! ARGH!!!! I have to get it over with so I can get on the new custom seat! That Picture is pretty wicked bro! Looks like you are swinging right through it! LOOKS GREAT FROM MY HOUSE!

I have always seen them curl real bad, so after making a couple and the same thing happening, now when I make them I put a very, very thin sheet of metal in the back and then cover the back with deer skin and lace the front and back together. You could use lexan/acrylic. I just always have some brass or metal laying around. And if you use a metal you can bend it to fit the tank! I have done them before with just a leather backing, but after getting baked in the sun, they did curl up...so now I always use a stiff backing. Kydex/acrylic/metal, all should be good. Then use the softest leather you can get locally, sheep,deer,rabbit,maybe even a piece of 2-3oz with the kip side out would probably be ok. Maybe just go to autozone and get a real leather shammy...they are normally deer. And under 5-7 bucks. bu-dum-ch...hahahaha Thank you , thank you I'm here all night...lol! Also another idea that is super cheap is a heavy Felt like 1/8" ; 2-3 bucks tops. Maybe someone else has another idea, but I think that pretty much nails it on the head! For sure use a stiff backer middle plate!

That is pretty funny...but I did post some pics GUY!!!!!!! Just not artwork yet:) Keep your pants on! I just got approval today as I finished another guitar strap.

I finally have artwork approval on an old HJ Ward painting from 1939....Very cool painting which sold at auction this year for an astonishing 143,000+ dollars. I have always loved Pulp Art and I have been wanting to do this artwork in leather for a very long time! Finally I have the right customer for it....

I will post up the transformation and name the seat after I get the artwork approval:)

I like the fact that it is dirty and looks like it is ridden everyday! I like the Kawi Green to:) Honestly...I do!!!! But your bars are still REAL UGLY! hahahaha

WITH THE FOAM:) TOP PIECE; LEATHER FACE DOWN, SEAT FACE DOWN ON TOP OVER YOUR KNEE SO YOU CAN WORK THE LEATHER UP TO THE METAL AND MARK IT 5MM AWAY FROM TEH METAL....WING DIVIDER ...TRACE WITH 5MM GAP. BOTTOM; GLUE/ OR HOLD SQUARE OR RUFF CUT TO THE BOTTOM, WING DIVIDER TRACE AROUND WITH 5MM GAP. DON'T OVER THINK IT...JUST DO IT.
