  1. That is pretty funny...but I did post some pics GUY!!!!!!! Just not artwork yet:) Keep your pants on! I just got approval today as I finished another guitar strap.
  2. I finally have artwork approval on an old HJ Ward painting from 1939....Very cool painting which sold at auction this year for an astonishing 143,000+ dollars. I have always loved Pulp Art and I have been wanting to do this artwork in leather for a very long time! Finally I have the right customer for it....

  10. 1200x ### whatever it comes out to Pxl's is normally a good size to make pictures here so people can see you craftsmanship:) YA and I 3rd...lets see the bike as well:)
  11. YA I have been to VLV 2 times...always a GREAT time...just to many people from Cali for my taste:) I am an East Coast guy...hahahah
  12. WITH THE FOAM:) TOP PIECE; LEATHER FACE DOWN, SEAT FACE DOWN ON TOP OVER YOUR KNEE SO YOU CAN WORK THE LEATHER UP TO THE METAL AND MARK IT 5MM AWAY FROM TEH METAL....WING DIVIDER ...TRACE WITH 5MM GAP. BOTTOM; GLUE/ OR HOLD SQUARE OR RUFF CUT TO THE BOTTOM, WING DIVIDER TRACE AROUND WITH 5MM GAP. DON'T OVER THINK IT...JUST DO IT.
  13. Ya me too! All 412 holes:) hahahaha THANKS!
  14. I wish it was bigger! LOOKS PRETTY F*N AWESOME!
  15. You can always call me. I have a US number on my web site. There is some things about covering top and bottom you need to know. Basically your leather on the top should bend down to the bottom of the pan and be 5mm longer for the lace. Glue the bottom leather on the pan and again mark and cut 5mm away from the edge so when you lace it together you have a nice flat lip joining the top and bottom pieces so they lace tight. I just use a wing divider an mark the leather with the pan over my knee so I can work the bend and get a proper mark.... Do ya smell what I'm cookin? Punch the holes on the top first the place it on the foam. Make some marks top, bottom, left, right, That way when you glue the top piece on to the foam you know where to line it up correctly. And use a pencil through the holes to the bottom and then punch those separately. Because of the bend and shape of the pan the top and bottom pieces of leather will be different shapes, but when joined together they will match up...this is why it is a pain in the arse!
  16. It is my fault! I started the rant....ok we all know the tragedies surrounding us! What are we going to do about it???? MAKE A BITCHIN' HANDMADE PRODUCT!!!!!!!! People appreciate handmade work otherwise none of us would be here. I thank my lucky starts everyday! Beats all my old day jobs with a stick, and the only person that I have yell at me is my wife cause I'm a work-o-holic!
  17. Photoshop......and an airbrush:) hahahaha And well, JUST BEING A SICK MUTHA FUKKKKA!
  18. If you are looking for a satin Finish that will last It is best to just use some good old fashioned cheep bee's waxed based product and buff. I am no where near upset with you and I know people are using MPG for stuff, it just makes me scratch my head.... Who was the wisenheimer that had this brilliant idea??? Kiwi Products are great and cheap! Polish, waxes all you have to do is buff to a shine... I suggest using cheap stuff all the time and I have been known to use olive oil from time to time when I was out of Neatsfoot oil and had something that had to go out the door in a few minuets and the stores where closed.... You don't have to spend a fortune to get a million dollar shine, you just need some elbow grease and possibly just invest into a bench grinder and a polishing wheel...it will save you a lot of time and you will always be satisfied with the result of anything made for shoes...they do get a lot more wear and tear than anything else you could ever wear...quality tested, shoe maker approved! Believe me I am not your customer I am not mad at your thread at all! It is hard to hear my fingers from the tone of my voice over the web:) I really do just want to help and hey if some douche thinks MPG is good...then let his customers buy their products...it won't EVER GO ON ANYTHING I MAKE! Unless it is a floor I just put down in a kitchen...cause that is where that product belongs...you would be better off with super light coats of acrylic car paint clears and matts ...AND I DO NOT INDORSE THAT ....I am just saying. If you think M+P is the same formula as a leather product you are MISTAKEN...and now it is rectified. Yes it may have some of the same qualities and ingredients...but IT NEVER WAS, AND TO DATE IS NOT MADE FOR LEATHER. Do yourself and your clients a favor, don't cheap out on the finish. To save 6-10 dollars is nothing compared to possibly your customer unintentionally bad mouthing your craftsmanship in front of a possible future client (you won't be there when it happens to defend yourself). It could actually cost you thousands of dollars, not just 10 bucks... Just something to think about. Your stuff is very nice looking and your technique is looking pretty sweet with your quality and attention to detail. Don't make yourself look bad cause 1 guy thinks he has been getting lucky for a while with MPG. Remember there are actually people out there leading people astray...don't always trust people telling you what to use...they could just be trying to sabotage others...I am not saying this is what has happened with this whole Mp+Gw thing...but it sounds pretty retarded to me! Just be careful...and follow your gut! On the inside you should instinctively know what you should be using...not what Joe, Bob and Harry are telling you is ok to use from their meth lab...they could all just be laughing....
  19. Ya it isn't a new shovel, he is keeping that off to the side for another project down the road it is a new 115 Revtech....which actually I have been hearing rumors that they are going or have already gone bankrupt since the news got out that they are NOT being made in the USA but actually being manufactured in Taiwan, and Custom Chrome has sold its manufacturing to Korea! Gee I wonder why we can't keep good American Factory jobs...everything that says made in America and starts strong then sells to Korea,China,Japan,Vietnam, and Taiwan! And to kick it in the nuts they have the balls to still mark it MADE IN USA!!!!! LIARS!!!!!!! To bring it back to the USA and have to mark up the price on the consumer and cut local jobs!!!!!!! It is just so mind blowing! WTF??????? ANyway...done with my rant and here is the motor that is going in...a Shovel BTW is a 100"....
