I love the tooling but the handles are a little different then anything i've ever seen... where did you learn how to do it like that I always use one of the ways in vol. 2 of al stohlmans how to make leather cases I think it would help get a different handle and I think you customers would like it I dunno just finding a way for you to improve -

I just want to know did he emboss the girl then cut her out and appliqued to the background and is her arm also appliqued across her body I know he must have airbrushed the background and the girl but i wanna know about her arm because I can't see where he attched it to her body did he skive it so it would flow from her shoulder?? -
He says it's Highly embossed appliqued i'm guessing spirited dyes with acrylic paint??? I dunno but it's the best leatherwork i've ever seen in my life and I want to be able to do it HELP ME!!!!

i'm working on the good shepherd... al stohlman uses this tool to bevel the different ripples in the cloth he is wearing... i'm just finding it difficult it leaves chop marks and it seems to not be in a good line do i use a smooth bevel rack tool? i just don't know i'm confused
-
I know this but say... using it for ripples on a shirt or using it for bumps on a horse for the legs and front part where the muscles are...? what do you use for a smooth mat??
-
I am having a terrible time with the F895 I can't bevel with it... I can't matt with it... when i try to bevel it doesn't go in a nice line like a like.. does anyone else have this problem it's choppy when i try to matt with it.. it makes lines and looks like crap HELP ME

SPRINGFIELD IS WHERE IT"S AT -
what you can do is take you leather piece and fold it in half and find the halfway on both pieces of leather then strattle the line then you'll have the same holes to line up with the same amount of holes I use a chisle 1/16 that's how I was tought
