  1. If you're willing to make the switch to goat skin Talas has some great French Split skins that are very thin, I also use their other French goat skins and skive them down to the thickness I like.
  2. Both skins are SOLD thanks!
  3. Price adjustment on the cream hornback to $170 OBO
  4. Black skin is SOLD
  5. Some more skins I'm clearing out. Both skins were tanned by Amtan, they do a great job with their skins and supply several major fashion companies (Ralph Lauren, etc). Send me a PM if you'd like more detailed pics as the file size here is rather limited. Cream/ Off White Hornback Alligator Skin - The pictures show it as a little lighter in color than it is. It is a nice cream white color with hints of depth around the scales. - 30cm Hornback Grade I/II, original sticker present on back of skin. Original for that grade and size was $448.80, I'll take $240 Black Matte/ Desert Finish - This skin is a lower grade and I have used a bit of the belly. Despite the lower grade it looks beautiful, Amtan is pretty picky with their grading though. - 28cm Belly Grade IV/V, Original sticker present on back of skin. Original for that grade and size was 129.36, I'll take $60 Shipping for each is $5 USPS Priority Shipped CONUS, I only take Paypal.

  10. These will mark or punch holes, one of the forum members, Sean, did a good write up on Blanchard pricking irons on his blog. And below are a few youtube videos. Skip to :20 sec http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=75Q-_AaNhbk Sean's blog http://www.fineleatherworking.com/blog/using-pricking-irons/ Jnk Using a pricking iron (not sure if his is Blanchard), skip to 1:20
  11. They are pricey lol, prices for a new Blanchard pricking iron with 10 teeth alone can set you back over $200. I purchased these only a few months ago. I find I use a No. 10 more in my work.
  12. Selling a set of Vergez Blanchard pricking irons on ebay, No. 7 with 9 teeth and a No. 7 with 2 teeth to help with curves. Used only for a couple of projects. http://www.ebay.com/itm/251246320100?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649
  13. Hi Hermes uses Blanchard pricking irons, hard to come by here in the US. I recently bought a few from a member on the forum, Sean, fineleatherworking.com, and Steve Segiel (I'm not sure if he has any left) . They are very pricey but do wonders for your stitching, I've attached a pic of a project I did using a number 7 pricking iron with Lin Cable 432, the lin cable 532 or 632 looks a little better as you increase your SPI. Hope this helps! Jason
