    Leather legion, yes sir, i use only one needle for this stitch. After beginning, you skip every other hole on the front and come through the hole you skipped from the back. Tree Reaper, I add a spacer at the top of the sheath. This spacer is the length of the handle material and is glued on top of the regular welt.

    I think you did a really nice Job. The brass rivets really give it that old fashioned look.

    Chris Crawford Knives has released the 2 DVDs of Paul Long. These are the best I have seen for making a leather sheath. Chris did a wonderful job with the video, and Mr Long did a masterful job of presenting the material. Do yourself a favor and get these DVDs . Thanks Trav

    Just thought I would share---Ijust received my 2 regular sized awls from BOB DOUGLAS. Man are they sharpe. and both MRS. LEE and MR.BOB are wonderful people to deal with. I even had them autograph my catalog. Cant wait to use them. have 36 sheaths to do for the Blade show in Atlanta. TRAV
