  1. Once you have applied Resolene to the project, you need not apply anything else. Resolene will block any thing.
  2. I think this is a tool for repairing the carpet. Just my 2 cents
  3. You are right there is no comparison. The JUKI is the best I agree with Art and dirtclod
  4. Get out your file, hacksaw and ruler. Make one. It is also missing the screw that holds the blade in place while being used.
  5. This item ended up on the Leather and lace stuff heading. I have for sale an Osborne 6" draw knife it has a brass handle with walnut grips. I don't use it as much as I did since buying a plough gauge. I would like to get my 100 back that I paid for it I will split the shipping with the new owner. Thanks for looking. I have a knife for it only not in the picture.
  6. How many stitches per inch are these tools? Thanks
  7. No, there is not a part number on the shuttle. Is it possable that the shuttle drive is worn excessively too? On my next sale I am going to purchase a new closed frame shuttle. Thank you for your time guys I do appreciate it.
  8. Yes, took some photos. I can almost get an 1/8" drill in that opening just behind the needle. Is the correct shuttle in this machine?? The parts book shows only the closed shuttles not the open one.
  9. I have had this machine since last October. It is a nice looking machine but I can't get it to sew for very long at once. I have set the needle height numerous times to no avail. I did discover that there was a channel worn beneath the tension spring on the shuttle. I took that apart and flattened it and re installed it. It worked good for a little while. Now it is back to skipping stitches a lot of stitches. How much rocking motion should there be on the drive mech. for the shuttle? There is a big 1/16" where the shuttle rocks back and forth in the mount. I think the shuttle is worn out but I have nothing to compare it to. What do ya' think? Thanks for any help and or advise.
  10. Go to Tractor Supply or any ones hardware store and buy the right size barn door hinge to fit your boot and some of the appropriate chain size. Make your own. Have fun.

    Missing Post

Where is the post I placed here for an Osborne 6" draw knife with brass handle and walnut grips.
  12. Try this site for the manual. It is not the G it is the W should work. parts/singerco.com/IPinstManuals/111w156.pdf
  13. I have for sale a 6" Osborne draw knife brass and walnut grip one screw in the top and two in the bottom of the handle. I don't use it as much as I did since I bought a plough gauge. I would like to get my 100 back out of it plus shipping. The pictures tell everything. Thanks for looking.
  14. The bag is made from 7 oz. material (not 8oz) and sewn inside out and turned right side out when it is finished sewing that is where the steel pole and the guy with the muscles comes in. It is then ready for the next operation of the assembly. Hope that helped.
  15. I must not be very bright, I don't know what you are trying to "flip". I don't see anything that needs to be "flipped". I think the only thing that is made from 8 or 9 oz. material is the back of the tool pouch. Everything else is 6 oz. and 4 oz. . That one loop on the front might be made of 8 oz.
  16. That is not a braid. It is 2 pieces of different pieces of leather split down the center and twisted together one inside the other. It'll work out keep the pieces tight. Practice some more you'll get it.
  17. The only way to soften that is to split it down to 10 oz. 15 oz. material is by nature stiff. Good luck.
  18. OK, so now we know that the AOD did not purchase this tool many years ago. It is still a very good quality splitter that is for sale.
  19. Latigo is not a good choice for dog collars in my opinion it strea--------tches like crazy sometimes. I use veg tan for all of my collars mostly 9-10 oz. if I need something heaver I will sew a 4 oz. piece on the back side and end up with 14 oz. this is mostly for the 1 1/4 " wide collars. Some of the collars end up on dogs that weigh around 175-200, this is a two ply 10 oz collar 2" wide with decorations. I have used bridal leather too. It all depends on what the customer wants. You would better off purchasing a double bend and your own draw knife with some different dye colors of your choice burgandy, medium brown, black, dark brown and some natural color from the material. These are the colors I sell in my part of the world. Yours colors might be different. Good luck.
  20. I am sorry to say there is no bomb with a fuse. Thanks for asking.
  21. This is similar to splitter that Osborne makes like the #86. I have had it for 5 years and bought a new blade for it 2 years ago. The blade will need to be sharpened although It cuts just fine the way it is but there is room for improvement. It will split down to 1 or 2 ozs. with no problem. It is in excellent condition. I replaced the splitter with a Chase pattern 10" splitter what a difference. I am asking $375 plus shipping. The pictures are self explanatory thanks for your interest.
