  4. Thanks TZ! I sent you my email via PM.
  5. Thanks alot for the info oltoot! I'm supposed to send pics to them so they mat better able to provide info. I receive their catalog & you're correct about their products. Thanks as well for comment on hobbles. They work great & are used quite often. IMO all horses benefit from being hobble-broke. Wish I could say I made 'em lol

    I'd like to add www.triggbrothers.com
  7. I'm looking for any/all info on this saddle. My dad purchased a couple years ago & it's stamped "King Ranch" on both stirrup fenders & on the saddle-bag flaps. I am familiar with King Ranch but curious as to # of saddles in circulation, approximate age, historical value, and any other info available. It's in great shape- though in need of good cleaning. One of the bag flaps has had the stamp cut out of it. The saddle hasn't been disassembled but would there be a number or maker mark to be found anywhere (other than the marks previously mentioned)? Thanks! Andt
  8. I just spoke with him earlier & it sold I am sorry. There are 2 listed on ebay- 1 with full handle & 1 3D stamp. His was full handle & sold for $90 if that helps as reference. Good luck!
  9. I have a friend here in southeast KS has one. I can PM you his phone # if you're interested.

    Thanks for sharing Ray!
  11. How common are these Bruce? And do they work well?
  12. Very impressive- beautiful work!
  13. Hope to see some of your product now...
  14. Wow thats great!! Enjoy!
  15. I like it. What would you charge for a knife like that?
  16. Very nice- I actually like the somewhat plain- you have the nice border & the decorated tip with brand, which shows well. I don't know much about lacing but sure looks good to me. I would love to make a pair of taps as it can get quite brushy around here; I've sure gotten my stirrup hung more than once! As for coloring, alot of good use & neatsfoot oil...lol. Really a nice job.
  17. Bigpaws I'd sure admire to see some pics of your work- especially the taps & buckin rolls. Maybe think about posting them on here?...
  18. Hey we're not complaining!! Another great guide for all. As a novice (since Feb. 2013) I certainly appreciate your input as well as all the great people on this forum!
  19. Man, I was really overthinking this holster! After seeing how you did it I am "full steam ahead"!
  20. Thanks for sharing that pattern! I have a request for just such a holster & have been looking at pics & drawing up ideas as this will be my 1st of this style. This pattern will help!
  21. At what ratio do you dilute the denatured alcohol?
  22. Beautiful!
  23. I really like this idea. I believe there should be a nice market for this as I know many gentlemen this would work great for. Also seems a nice clean design. What is the overall width of this design?
  24. Thanks for the great visual aide here Bob. Very good idea
