Hi. I start to make my firts cartrigde belt today and I try to do the cartridge loops using the laced loop method. I found pretty easy to do, and I wonder if it is much easier and faster than sewing them. But... I'd like to know the pros and cons of this method and some hints to make a better job. Hi, Near my house there is a Harley Davison shop. Today, I met the owner and talk to him about my part time job with leather ... He asks me to show some jobs and he interested that I made some items to be displayed in his shop. Since I have absolute no experience with seats, I think to do some bags (I either have no experience with that, but I guess it is less complicated to do). What do you think guys ? Hi. I bought this tool to cut fine strands of rawhide but..... I can't use this ! I just cut short strands, the strands are not at the same width, etc... So, it drives me crazy !!! Help me !!!!

Hi. About Breathable and Non breathable seals. Some people here critique some of my works (sheaths) because I use acrylic finish that "seal" the leather. They said don't let the leather "breath" and this deteriorate the leather. Is it true ????? Regards from Brazil.

Hi, My name is Luis Paulo Leonardo, I'm 38 years old and I live in a big big city (15 million hab. I guess) called São Paulo, in Brazil. Well.... To big for my taste, I don't like crowed places, traffic etc... I'm married, and we have a child - 10 years old. My wife is pregnant, so next July we'll have a new baby. I start to learn about leatherwork about 2 years ago, with a friend who lives in a city near here called Americana (yes, Americana, because it was founded by Americans). Since them, I try to learn about this art and try do make it lives, since the youngters dont car so much about this.
