  1. The server admins are incompetent. I have reached out for help. I am very sorry and I do appreciate your patience and support.
  2. I set the SSL cert to auto renew, got an email saying that the renewal was coming up and all would be well, and the certificate expired. Meanwhile you are correct. LW doesn’t represent a security threat no matter what. It will not steal your info or do much more than try to remember what you already read, which is pretty much all we use cookies for. Mike that’s a lot of info. I need to read and then I will have questions, as usual! Thanks everyone for your patience and support.

"Dimensions in Leather Conference" hosted by the Leathercrafters Association of Queensland Inc. This event is to be held in Brisbane from Saturday 27 June to Sunday 5 July 2020. This is the Fourteenth Conference since 1994. Dimensions has grown over the years with enormous success, providing a creative atmosphere in which leather artisans can learn. The main aims of presenting this event are to promote leather in its many forms, share information, techniques and skills, and further the interest in leather. An invitation is extended to you to enjoy six days of exciting leather workshops, suitable for both the beginner and advanced student interested in furthering their knowledge of leathercraft/art, where you can receive hands-on instructions from professional international and Australian tutors, meet other leathercrafters and enjoy the camaraderie. You are assured of an educational and enjoyable week in which to meet old friends and have the opportunity to make many new ones who share a common interest. This is a fabulous opportunity for leather artisans to follow their passion and attend a variety of exciting workshops. The week involves more than workshops, this year the trade show is extended to five days, which is open to the public. For more info click here

  8. It's working for me: https://leatherworker.net/introcarving.htm
  9. There is no leatherworker.mp3 I suspect some random file borrowed the name. We recently did some updates on the forum, and there are a number of clean up routines the system runs in the background afterwards when the forum isn't busy. What Fredk witnessed was the databases restoring themselves. They are being cleaned automatically of orphan pics and posts. This is just maintenance. You may notice a few anomalies over while the databases run their programs, but it will straighten itself out soon. Keep the comments and updates coming! I depend on you folks to alert me to problems before they get out of hand. LW has grown to huge chunk on the Internet, and I can't watch all of it at once. Members that care are the only way I can stay on top of it. Thank you! PS Mikesc- have not forgotten you. Getting some info so I can ask the right questions and give you the relevant info. Your assistance has been invaluable. >smooch<
  10. Thanks for the alert. I'm on it.
  11. Impressive! Wow!
  12. Thank you for ALL the help over the last week! Not every leatherworker is also a geek!

  13. I'm still working on things. Everything should be back to normal soon. ~J
  14. The forum software people added a line to the htaccess file to force people to the new https and that broke the cPanel redirect. The server throws an error of "too many redirects". With the redirect, the forum won't show. Without it, people landing on the main page are seeing the file list instead of the forum. I need smeone smarter than me to write me a working htaccess file. I have IPS on it now. Thanks for your patience everyone!
  15. I'm working on it. We got a brand new security certificate and life hasn't been the same since. The redirect stopped working because it isn't compatible with the htaccess file. I'm working on it. Thanks to the folks who let me know last night! (If you had problems with the site last night, that was me.) I'll get it fixed ASAP ~J

Holster Class with Chris "Slickbald" Andre On the first day, the class will focus on the tools used, as well as the design basics and basics of holster making. The aim of the workshop is that Holsters can be made independently after the course. The type of holster is not the point in the course. Attendees will craft a western-style holster shaped like a Single Action Army revolver. The focus is on the different techniques to understand the meaning of the seam, the liner and the fit of the weapon. On the second day the students will do a second holster to repeat the lessons of the first day. The second holster is then hallmarked with your favorite geometric stamps and marginal stamps. 23. I'm not finding anything on our server's end that is abnormal, or underperforming. I do appreciate everyone's feedback, and I try to fix the problems that I can.
  24. Battlemunky, He arrived in MO yesterday at a large Army base for his MOS training. He said that they (Marines) have to do more PT and dress sharper than their Army peers because, well, you know, they are US MARINES and the difference must be immediately evident or he's in trouble. I love the USMC. They have class, style and they're deadly. Semper Fi!
