The Leather Shop in San Pedro, California is seeking an experienced leather crafter to be a team member in our shop. We hand craft leather belts, bags, wallets, dog collars, leashes...you name it. Seeking a leather crafter that has experience and their own hand tools that can build products unsupervised. We have tried training newbies and we are too busy to train someone from the ground up in leather craft. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone that truly LOVES crafting leatherwork and giving their ALL. I hand craft leather belts, men's leather bags, and other products within certain niches. I am not looking to hire an employee. In October I will be needing an apprentice in my leather belt shop to handle the busy Christmas season. Seasonal work that may lead to full time if you are a great fit. Pay will depend on level of experience in leather craft and quality of character. No experience necessary and am willing to train. I have a very solid reputation for high quality work, so you must take pride in your work. NON-NEGOTIABLE. But must have a strong work ethic and good references. No drugs at all will be tolerated.
