  1. Yes it is, for any questions I can be reached at 650-267-4813. Daniel.
  2. I have to apologize for not returning any phone calls, or prices for shipping quotes. It's been a busy week so far, but I will respond to all the inquiries. Daniel.
  3. Thanks for the reply, I was thinking Zack White may have them, but haven't had a chance to ask. Ed, yes those were the same ones. I actually took it one step further and called them. I specifically asked for brass line 20 snaps and they told me it was brass. I should have asked when I received it, but I was pressed for time. Hope it helps. Daniel.
  4. Machine is still for sale, I need to move it out, 1,200 dollars plus shipping, and handling and the machine is yours.
  5. I'm looking for actual brass line 20 snaps. I ordered from Ohio Travel Bag, and they sent my brass plated crap that now I have to replace for my customers. any one know if these still exist? thank you, Daniel.
  6. very nice work.

  7. I need to get rid of it, $ 1,500 dollars will get you this fine looking machine.
  8. I'm selling a Ferdinand 900b Bull sewing machine. Machine works great and is good condition. I've posted a video on youtube tittled Ferdinand 900b bull sewing machine. I'm asking $1700 but I need to get rid of it so i'm open to offers. Send me a PM if interested, Daniel.
  9. a couple of suggestions, find the picture you want on the internet. If you want a stamp you can press onto leather, then I recommend Owosso graphics, great magnesium stamps at a really good price. If you want a stamp that you can hammer with a mallet, then here's two more options. Infinity stamps can make it out of metal but this will cost you more. There's also Jeff from Greyghost graphics. he makes the stamps out of plastic and the cost is very reasonable. I actually have one of each, knowing what i know now, I would've saved myself some money and gone with greyghost graphics. Ive had them for almost two years and the plastic still looks as good as the day that i got it, cant seem to wear it out. Hope this helps, Daniel.
  10. Good for you. you're lucky you live close to Steve's shop. I myself have been working with steve to get my chandler 205 working, great service from him and I haven't bought anything yet. My next machine will definitely be from his store. Hope you enjoy the machine. Daniel.
  11. thanks everyone for the replies, I was thinking of carving a tactical light made of wood. I think I need to make longer than the actual light itself so it covers the trigger guard so when I mold it, the holster will have the necessary round shape needed to let me draw the firearm. I keep researching to look for the perfect holster. Daniel.
  12. Thank for the replies, I plan carry my firearm concealed. I actually thought about Kydex, but given the fact that I've never worked with it, I've been staying away. I saw some videos and it seems its something i can work it, but I wanted to get different ideas for several holster types. Daniel.
  13. I need to make a holster for my 1911 with an attached tactical light. Does any one have any ideas, pictures or designs? Any photos would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Daniel.
  14. I've been wanting to start a topic on this question, Tandy had the stitchmaster, but tipmman prevented the larger copy from being sold (at least in the US). I have a good feeling the Chinese company making the knock-offs continued to make them. For any leatherworkers outside the US, any info on the stitchmaster would be greatly appreciated.
  15. Ernie how are you? Any projects lately? Daniel.

    3/8" webbing

CAn't help with which one is best, but weaver has 3/8 webbing. Daniel
  17. Andy, to add to the confusion, I've had two boss's and I only had problems in the beginning before I truly learned how to use it. Since then, I haven't had any problems. I recently got rid of one but it was not because I didn't like it or it had problems. I upgraded to a 441 clone and found myself with a collection. Over all I still like the work the boss makes n I can use it for small projects where I need more attention to detail. The boss is a great starter machine, but it will frustate you in the beginning untill u learn how to tinker with it. I keep mine well oiled and I haven't had to adjust the settings in over a year. I wouldn't recommend the boss for webbing, it works Well with leather but sucks for webbing. I have both types because I use them for different projects. Daniel
  18. got mine yesterday, I love it. Thanks Scott, Daniel.
  19. Thanks Art, never occurred to me to contact Steve, will do, Thanks, Daniel.
  20. A while back before I purchased my 441 clone, I ran into a Chandler 205 long arm on ebay. Thinking it was a deal and I could fix it, I bought. Well if I could fix it, it would've been a deal (I tell myself), but since I can't, it's been the worst investment I've made so far. The person I take my machines to get serviced doesnt' specialize on these types of machines and he can't find the parts to make it work. My question is can some one refer me to a shop where I can purchase parts for this machine. To start with I need the bobbin case and the needle plate. Art if you're out there your knowledge will be greatly appreciated. If any one else can help, I greatly appreciated also. Thank you, Daniel.
  21. Ricky thanks for the info. the rex riveter is one of the machines I've looking . I'm also interested in the bigger rivet machines that are foot operated, any one else have info on this machines? daniel
  22. I've been wanting to purchase a tubular rivet setter, but I don't know which one to get. Weaver has some really nice one, and simple ones that are less expensive. My question is, does any one out there recommend a specific type? I've been setting tubular rivets with a simple setter and a mallet, but I want something quicker and more efficient. Any pictures of the setter you have would also help a lot. Thank, Daniel.
  23. Regis, thank you for the info. i've been curious about the snap setter, but since I've never heard any reviews, I never bought it. Thinking of getting one, probably will. Daniel.
  24. to answer the listed questions, yes that is the Texas customs dies website, their number is 888-755-9025. they make both clicker die type and punch type. Here's a picture of the item i purchased from them. the white scuffing is paper that i did not remove from the shipping. Daniel. sorry, let's try this again, here's the picture again, daniel.
  25. I needed a 2.5" punch made along with dies. Texas Custom Dies made what I needed, I received great products fairly fast. I expected a generic punch but I was surprised how well it was made. I don't have the # at hand but you can find it in the forum if u search it. Hope it helps, Daniel.
