  1. I made one similar to this a year ago. I had it with me when I went to a small coffee shop inside where I work. they bought a 1/2 dozen off me and pd $18.00 each. I did not lace mine, the leather wraps on its self and shaved it down and used rivets. They sold them at the main coffee shop up town for $28.00.
  2. I wish I could touch it. The depth and lift is unbelieveable - I envy your skills. Tammy
  3. I really like the rose. How do you attach the leather to the barrett?
  4. as a women who is always losing my keys. I love these types of clasps the hook to purses, belt loops etc which helps me find them. Tammy
  5. wildrose - I would love a copy of the pattern - a friend just asked me to make him a new one. Someone gave him one that he has worn out. Tammy
  6. This is fantastic! I wish I could see it in person. Just looking at the detail you want to run your finger across it.
  7. Storm- Did you make this from a kit or pattern? tj
  8. My computer crashed and I have lost all the websites I had book marked. A friend requested I make her a leather sun visor. I found a kit and book marked it, but lost everything in the crash. I had never ordered from this company before but I remember you could buy a single kit or a kit with all the pieces to make several. any help would be great - her birthday is coming up and I was hoping to make this for her. Tammy
  9. I would love to walk into the next managers meeting a slap this down on the table. You feel like death after the meeting is over. Tammy
  10. How old is your son? My son Frank who is 12 is also autistic. I have been wanting to make something with the puzzle pieces, but haven't yet. I am trying to talk my father into making me a stamp for the puzzle piece. Tammy
  11. rbd - A marketing trick I learned from my Grandma when setting up for a craft/street fair was take the tools of your trade. If you just set up the product, that is what people see, if they see your tools and see you working on a piece it makes it more personel and raises the prices. People see this as more special and one of a kind. Sell it to them that is hand made by showing them. tjg
  12. broncobuster - I have one similar to this on my saddle, I did not make it bought it at a tack store when we were riding in Southern OH. I will see if i can dig my husbands out of the trailer and take a pic. He has a Tucker endurance saddle (no horn) the Amish put together one for him with a strap that has a clip to hook to his rings. I am hoping I can make a few of these to help cover my trail riding trips, or at least the beer for the weekend. Ha ha. Tammy
  13. I am definitly going to make one of these. The campfire cowboys are going to love them. I don't think they will do the job on the trail. Indy- great idea for pattern material. I work at a hospital and happen to have friends in Radiology, I sent an email request before I sent this.
