Sorry the delay, What I do is to cement a piece of fabric for each slot cut, like an envelope to hold the card, I don't know if is the best way, I just saw that on a tandy leather kit and though was a good idea. I cement one side right below the slot cut then I fold it and i glue the other side on top of the same slot cut and, I do the same on each one.
