These are breathtaking rigs. The only thing I would suggest is to keep your options open for the bottom attachment, considering that you may sometimes attach to the belt loop on your jeans, other times to the belt itself. Just my 2c.

Fred, I do have tape and used it extensively, but this time I need the fridge magnet size pieces, and they must be flat.
Ferg: are they sticky on the side opposite fridge, and ready to accept a printed card? do you have 100 of them?

While searching for a leather term, I spotted images from the below link and became curious.

After scanning Aliexpress, Alibaba, and the eBay, I could not find anyone who would sell me a lot of 50-100 blanks.
The idea is to attach my own message to them, not use sublimation on the magnets with an already attached face.
Oh, yes! I did find an A4 (somewhat close to Letter) sized magnet "paper" in the UK. For 1300 pounds!!! For one!!!
Does anyone know of a supplier for that?

STL is only 3D when you need it to be. It is just a bunch of triangle coordinates and if they all lie on a flat surface then you get a 2D. the fact that you do not always need solid lines but a bit map is a different story.
And the use of STL is not limited to the 3D printing industry. It is just a common format for any models be it 3D or 2D.

What year casting is that? It is pricey for an old casting. I got mine from a dealer, after sewing my leather ith my thread, for $950 a few years back. For 1200 it should come with a servo and extra feet.

Liner might stretch and create wrinkles, which would rub you sores.

That stitch is just as strong as the thread you'd use. I use regular high-quality polyester thread in TEX 27 for hats and gloves, and it holds up fine.
On leather it would be weaker than most lockstitch machine's due to pretty high SPI. One thing to remember is that once that thread breaks in a seam, it would undo the whole seam if you pull on it in one direction. So if you had a 10" seam and it broke in the middle, then you might end up with 5" loose.
I do not make large handbags, but for purses I would still use my Pfaff 335.

They look frightfully similar to Juki. I own a single-needle straight stitcher Mitsu which is identical to your pictures, except that it does not have walking foot.
The stitch length disk operates a pin with a taper tip, which locks in the notches on the disk. That tip has a tendency for wearing off and allowing the disk to turn freely as you go in reverse.
My solution was to turn the pin on a metal lathe to make the tip slightly concave and that fixed the issue.
Also make sure that you know exactly what needle system to use! Make the seller change a needle before you test stitch. They should take 16/134 IIRC but some owners adjust the needle bar for whatever needle system they have on hand.
