1851 Jesse james holster
Storm replied to Cowboy316's topic in Gun Holsters, Rifle Slings and Knife Sheathes
Very nice holster! I like the look of the vintage tooling. I also like the pistol! Used to have a .36 cal. just like it. Nothing like hot lead and clouds of blackpowder smoke! HA! Storm -

Beautiful piece Gary! I like the look of and the idea of combing the elephant and the roo lace. I want to get some real Croc and lace it up with roo. The official Paul Crocodile Dundee Hogan wallet! HA! Nice to make things that you like. Storm -
Another Dream Journal. The Kanji character on the front is a stylized version of "DREAM"

Gary, Never was it truer to say "What the mind can concieve of and believe in it can achieve!!! But did you guys install the hydraulics so that it can go up and down? Nicely done man!!! Storm -
I have not used the Pebble backgrounders before but due to Caroline (Leatheroo) I found them at a superb price. Ordered up a set and some new flower centers too. The price was way to good to pass up. To use that colorful vernacular oft times found in the land of the Southern Cross...Good on you Caroline!!!! But also Bobby I know what you are saying however I have also tried to create a sort of pattern when I encounter such a large area. Now I will give the Pebbles a BamBam! It is one in the morning and I am coming up with obscure Flintstones puns. Too much expresso again. Storm

Nice job! By the way tell Lexi she will regret pesteirng you . Looks as though she craves attention and that phone number is to good to pass up. HA! Now I know what to do with my AT&T rollover anytime minutes. LOL! So tell your friend that if she recieves phone calls for her dog that it's just the Sheep Dog from down the way. Keep up the good work. Always be proud of your work. It has a portion of your life invested into it. Can't ask for a better gift! Storm

A superb piece of carving and construction. Good flow on the pattern and well executed. The edging is very nice indeed. It is a masterpiece and something that anyone would be proud to claim as their own. The color would, for myself, be superb. What did you expect to get in the way of color might be a better start to helping you. My understanding of Aniline dyes is that they are more of a large scales method of coloring an entire prepared side of leather. Might you tell me where you are from so that I may have a better idea as to how to help answer your question. To demonstrate what I am saying,,,,,if you are not satisfied with this briefcase then I would be more than happy to take it off your hands. Just Email me and I will give you my address. I would even be more than happy to for its shipping. I would also promise that it would find a good home with me. Storm -

Very nice work. I love the Tribal stuff! Storm -
This one has one of my new florals(Needs some adjustment) and I tried something new. First as we here in California have to deal with only certain types of non-oil or alchohol I tried something different. I added alchohol to my regular All-In-One and it works a lot better. I will say that it will take awhile to find the right blend but it is a start. The same problem was occuring in my not being able to get black spirit dyes for backgrounds. Funny thing is that here in California you can't buy spirit dyes at Tandy...however you can go to certain shoe repair/Shoe Finding houses and buy the same thing. There is one near Western and Santa Monica Blvd. called SADERMA. I bought a 4 0z. bottle of Angelus Spirit Dye(Jet Black) for $3.00! Thought I would share this with my other friends here who are in the same boat. Beats having to drive across statelines in order to get what you want! LOL! Storm

I agree! Your lady is going to love this one. I like what you did with the interior. Storm

Yup! I have seen the Pebble Backgrounders but at this point I would have to pay more for them than I would like. I am looking at some flower center though. These stamps can run US$30 to US$60 each. Plus the bloody shipping is obscene. Just have to put it on my wish list. Maybe a few more motorcycle seats and it may get closer to a reality!HA!
