I think that the idea of trading cards is a cool idea to communicate and get to know people. Kind of like years ago when HAM radio operators used to send out their 5x7 card and people would put them on the wall near their shortwave radios. Storm

That might go either way. Emergency Mail Services or Emergency Medical Services. PBS has a show caled the history detectives and the reasearch stuff like this for free.

I like them both. Time to get a better nickname. This one is beyond rookie status! Storm

Hey....that's four years older than you and me! LOL! What was the original bag used for and by whom? Storm

Never mind the fishy comments! One could get hooked on a seat like this one. Storm

Great Job!!! I love this bag! I like the look and feel of it. Just goes to show that something created during WWII could still be fashiobale now! Storm

Hi Caroline, Very, very nice! Neat clean and I love the airbrush work on the color. Done a couple bike seats lately but just the custom carving. You have done a great job on this one as you did on the previous seats. Cheers, Storm

Hi Hilly, I used EcoFlo "Prairie Tan" on the first round and then EcoFlo Gel Antique"Saddle Tan" in the second go round. The Black was a good old Angelus Spirit Dye. That dye works exceedingly well and I apply after the other dyes. Top off with Dr. Jackson's Spray Water Protector. I liked the idea of the saddle skirting as it is beefy and readily cut with a razor knife. I have a set of six with a San Carlos border and a second set of 6 in mixed oak leaf patterns almost finished.

As I don't have a clinker or anyplace to put on I decided to make up some square coasters ala "Particle" Tandy has these nifty saddle skirting bellies on sale right now for $4.99 each. I created a pattern to do my layout prior to cutting. Out of the two bellies I was able to get 27 of the 3.5"x3.5" costers. So head on down to your local Tandy shop and get some bellies. Great value for money. Thanks again for the thought Eric. Also check out Erics blog site at: http://particlerealities.blogspot.com/ I worked as an architectural designer and illustrator for over 23 years and I have to tell you that Eric's work is super fine. I can tell you for a fact he's mostly out of his mind! This is a piece I have seen up close and personal. You have no idea how fine the flames are on this dragon. You would then underestand that my friend has since turned cross eyed! LOL! I am not sure but I think he beveled it with the head of a pin. I know his little girl is going to love it. Good one Travis and let us hope to see many more in the future!! Storm

Hi Danilo, I don't know how I missed this one but I am usually on the "Show Off Forum" most of the time. Beautiful saddle like the figure carving on the back of the seat. Very clean and well done. Your carving is, as usual, very nice. You really do very nice work!!! Thank you for sharing your latest saddle! Storm
