  1. Best one I have found so far... http://www.amazon.com/Big-Horn-19596-Stainless-J-Roller/dp/B001DDY69Y/ref=sr_1_5?s=hi&ie=UTF8&qid=1297098353&sr=1-5
  2. Thanks for the reply. Sorry about the picture I had to take it from the TV screen, couldn't find a better way to get it. I still can't figure out how to down size the pictures on here. Any idea exactly which supplier you found yours at all I have found are wooden.
  3. Spend alittle more and get a Cobra class 3 and be done with it.....just my 2 cents
  4. I saw John Bianchi use this tool in his DVD Western Holster Making. He called this tool a "flat boning tool" and later in the DVD mentioned that is was used by old saddle makers. He used the tool to close the holes made when stitching the leather; he rolled it over the stitch line. He also mentioned that is was a "roller" not just a flat smooth surface. I wanted to find one of these tools if anyone happens to know where I can get one please let me know. I have found some wooden large rollers that could be used however I would really like a tool just like this one. See attached picture

  10. I have checked Tandy's, Ohio Travel Bag, Weaver, Zach Whites, and a google search however these guys are the only ones who has them. JRM clips has a nice website and cool stuff, the probelm is they don't answer thier emails or voicemails (3 emails and 2 phone messages left (NO RESPONSE YET) Belt clip
  11. I have been looking also there has to be somewhere to get those cheaper
  12. Thanks, Do you have a part number or a link from thier webstie, I could not find anything like that on thier site. I also looked at McMaster-Carr but only found the ones with the prongs, I must be looking in the wrong place do you remember thier part number?
  13. Shorts, Have you been able to find t nuts without the spurs? the only ones I have found have the spurs sticking up that I have to cut off.... the spurs are for knocking them into wood.
  14. What is the procedure to get to JRM? I have called and left two messages and sent a few emails without any repsonse. I would get 1,000 if the price is right and if they would respond......
  15. I would have given them a quote that you knew they would not take like 3 times the normal price. If they had to use you then look who is laughing now, but if they did not use you then your better off.
  16. Any idea what jrm clips charge for 1,000 or by each for that matter. I emailed them a few days ago and still waiting on a response. Maybe I will have to do it the old way.
  17. Just had a general thumb break die made and it was about $90
  18. I am going to get a skiver and was wondering if I could get some feedback on which one would be the best for me. I don't do to much skiving yet but plan to do more hopefully. My concern is the cost of the replacment blades down the road..
  19. Thanks for the information. What would the solvents do to the machine? I plan on getting the right oil ASAP but 3 in 1 was better then running it dry.
  20. Yea I was just in a pinch and not able to get my hands on a bottle that says "sewing machine oil" I have been told that 3 in 1 would would work just as good. I am sure that the manual says sewing machine oil but I have a feeling that here are several oils out there that one could use. Thanks everyone!
  21. Can you use 3 in 1 oil on leather stichers, I have a class 3 cobra? if not why?
