  1. Here is his information that I got from the US patent directory of agents. I called him and he answered alot of questions. I would give him a call if you’re thinking about a patent. Brockington, F Rhett 10613 Kennel Lane Charlotte, NC 28277 704-301-3497 29618 AGENT
  2. I had the same kind of problem with a nearby Tandy’s so I just started calling a Tandy's that is about 2-1/2 hrs from me and having them ship it to me. With the price of gas you will break even just having them ship it especially if you get better service also. Give the Raleigh's NC Tandy's a call and ask for Aubrin, if you don't mind let him know I sent you. They respond to email really good for me so far Here is the numbers Tandy Leather #148 - RALEIGH-148 Manager: Aubrin Rhem raleigh@tandyleather.com 6514 Old Wake Forest Rd, Ste 130 Raleigh, NC 27616 USA Phone: 919-981-0021 Fax: 919-981-0024 Toll Free: 888-812-0010 Store Hours: Monday-Friday: 9am - 6pm Saturday: 9am - 4pm Sunday: Closed
  3. I have been asked to give a quote for 3000 custom leather belt buckles with a company logo embossed in the middle. I have estimated about $5.00 my cost for the materials for each buckle but I haven't made one of these before so I am not sure how long it would take to make one to estimate my time. I am estimating around $500 for clicker dies and embossing plates. I have a few sets of the buckles on the way to test out because I plan to machine sew them instead of hand sew the edge. I was thinking about $11 wholesale considering the size of the order but I wanted some feedback from others. Any suggestions are welcome. Here is a picture of the buckles I am talking about but of course these will be plain black with the company logo on them http://www.tandyleat...ter/FP0004.aspx. A suggestion on the exact cost you would charge would be helpful.
  4. Here is a thread I posted awhile back about the same kinda thing http://leatherworker.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=17221

  6. I have completed uploading all guns and the images that I have into my site so you can browse much easier. Click here to take a look My Blue Gun Link Also, I mentioned in previous posts that I was going to make monthly orders. I am now taking individual orders so if you need one or several guns I am prepared to take the order at anytime. My shipping goes as follows $7.99 for the first item and $3.00 for each additional item. You can also order the guns in the actual weight and in black finish. All guns are ordered without the final top coat so you will not have the blue rub off unless you specify otherwise.

  10. I have made a few for my kids which are the same ages it sounds like. I made them 1" wide using 5/6 oz leather. You can get the roller buckles in 1" but I liked the brass halter double bar buckle from Tandy's better because you don't need to use a belt keeper. The buckle is brass and a little high for a small buckle but here it is http://www.tandyleat...s/1503-085.aspx . I punched the first hole of the belt to the size they were currently wearing and added several more to grow into.
  11. I use the Velcro without the self adhesive, a little bit of maters glue makes it sticky in order to sew it down. I have not had this problem before.
  12. I was thinking about the same thing when I was looking at dummy guns. Why not get the off the wall dummy guns because most people are not making holsters for them, guess that is by BLUEGUNS carries both of those models.
  13. Your right or the first price list that was sent to me either. I will be adding each part number and photo to my site when I get the potos from them so you should be able to check it out to see any new part numbers that are added. I am going to take small orders unlike I first posted so if you just need one gun I can get it on it's way ASAP. The cost for the handguns are $39.99 plus $7.99 shipping, $3 for each addional item after the first one.
  14. I do some also take a look maker's section

  16. All the guns arrived and are on the way to everyone who participated in the onetime offer. I plan on keeping stats on what part numbers I order the most so I can share what is the most bought gun which should translate into the holster with the most demand to be made. There were 89 guns ordered in the order and 13 magazines. I am posting some new part numbers Blue Guns are now making on another posting.
  17. I started a new section on my site called the Maker's Corner / Supplies. In this section you will find some commonly used items like Belt clips, Thumb stiffners,Blue Guns,Key fob blanks,Clip cover blanks that you may be intrested in. I will be adding and changing items often so check back with me if you don't see what you need. Take a look Maker's Corner / Supplies Section .
  18. I just became a Blue Gun distributor and here is their part number (FSTJ4510 TAURUS 4510 THE JUDGE 3") I plan on starting out with monthly orders so if you would like to get in on the next order contact me.
  19. I use this size http://leatherworker.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=30041&st=0&p=188131&hl=+holster%20+clips&fromsearch=1entry188131
  20. Since the deadline I originally posted (April 30, 2011) falls on a Saturday I will not be putting in the order until Monday May 2, 2011, so you actually have until then to make your order.
  21. UPDATE: I have had a good response on the Blue Guns order so far including several questions. I need to clarify one thing though; my original post and price quote was just for the part numbers under the heading of "Handguns" on the Blue Guns catalog. However I can get and you can order any part number in the catalog but the price may vary. If you're interested in any part numbers under the following headings in the catalog contact me for a price quote: Long Guns, Accessories, Period Weapons, Rubber Props, Weighted Weapons, Handgun Magazines, Long gun Magazines. Below are some of the questions I have received and my response. How long will it take to get my guns? I have heard the normal shipping time on the blue guns are 2 weeks (5/15/11), but I am expecting it to take longer due to how large the order will be. I have sent an email to Blue Guns today on an estimate on the shipping but I haven't received a response yet. I will keep you posted. Can I order the guns without the final blue coating so I don't have that blue rub off? Yes, I plan to order all the guns unless otherwise specified without the blue final coating on them. I am looking at the Colt SAA 5.5 and 7.5, which they have painted with wood grips etc. I don't need them painted. Is it possible to get them in just black or blue? I did not mention these guns in the original posting they are listed under the "Period Weapons" and have a different price ($45.00 shipped depending on part number). I am waiting on a response from Blue Guns on ordering them without the paint. Do you plan on stocking the Blue Guns? My intentions are not to stock the guns just make monthly pre-orders. If I see that the demand is high on certain part numbers I will stock them but at first I am going to just take pre-orders each month. Don't hesitate to contact me with any questions you may have rob@rmbblades.com 704-239-6742 . Please bear with me as I put all this together. I feel like this is a good opportunity because the cheapest I have seen the guns advertised is $36.00 and that was without shipping added. The Blue Guns retail price for the Hand guns are $45.95 without shipping added.
  22. I have answered a few emails today about the blue guns so I am assuming one of them was you. If I haven't responded to your email already please try it again.
  23. Here is where I get my Boy Scout stamps http://www.scoutstuf...img=17473&us7=Y not sure if they have the one you want but this is the BSA website. Here is the whole set including the Light of Arrow http://www.worthpoint.com/worthopedia/boy-scout-emblem-leather-stamping-tools
