  2. Welcome. New myself so I have no criticism. Looks like a good start to me.
  3. Thanks. I am having problems with my stitching if I use an awl. If I use the pricking irons it comes out much better.
  4. That's what I did with the pic of the bag. Stole it off the wife's fb. I usually am just using my phone for everything. I sent her a cpl pics of the holster I made her and had her send back to me via text and then they are small enough to post. Have to get more pics of bag when get home. Finished it late last night.
  5. I will but only way can post if they are sent to me otherwise file to big.
  6. 3rd Holster using a JLSLEATHER pattern for a Sig 938 pocket/purse holster adapted for a Ruger LC9S for my wife.
  7. First bag. Done a couple holsters. Been working with leather for 3 weeks. Wife likes it. Lot harder than I thought being a "simple tote". Lol
  8. Thanks again. Dye has been on since Saturday and Edge Kote since yesterday morning. Gonna clear it tonight after work. Will post results when done. Good or bad.lol
  9. OK thanks . I was thinking of as a sealer for the edge kote. Not sure if was reading Oldnslow's comment about Edge Kote bleeding from Resoline.
  10. Can i put beeswax on the edge over the Edge Kote? Forget to ask this in original post. Thanks again.
  11. Thanks! And BTW growing up on a dairy farm in Wisconsin I have jumped in many warm and squishy cow patties. Ben about 35 yrs though.
  12. I like to make something that cool looking by accident!
  13. Hey all. I am going to be using resolien for the first time tomorrow on a project dyed with Fiebings Pro oil dark brown. And Fiebings Edge Kote black. Here's the questions. I don't have access to an air brush(preferred method from my readings) and dont know how to use one.Yet. I got a manual "misting sprayer" from Tandy. Can I use that? And it seems like mixing 50/50 with water is also preferred method even though the bottle dosent say anything about diluting it. Any help or advise would be appreciated. Thanks, Matt. P.S. I know the stiching is a bit sketchy but only 2nd project. Messed up my measurement for the stitch line hence the scratch by the trigger guard.
  14. Started on my second holster. One of your G19 holsters Jeff. A pancake pattern adjusted to a crossdraw Avenger. Somehow messed up the stitch line so have a "scratch" where WAS gonna stitch it. Making for a friend who said whatever it comes out like is good enough for him since he has nothing now.lol.Also forgot to change the angle of the belt loop. Live and learn.
  15. Hi. New to leather work. Trying to make one for a friend.Got to practice. He wants a crossdraw for a G19. I saw you made a cross draw avenger style awhile back and was wondering if you have a pattern I can use or how you ajusted the can't on what I assume is a right hand strong side carry on?

  16. The edge is burnished already. But no sealer or oil or edge dye on any of it yet.
  17. I watched a couple videos of Sam Andrews making holsters. And even having no clue what I'm doing it know an artist when I see one.
  18. Ya i like the carjacker look/style. Cant find any pics of the back. I process better visually it's just how I'm wired.lol
  19. Just starting out at leather work. Thinking need a slight can't to it and an easy on off faction too. Being as not very concealable. Holster itself is doable it's the can't and belt attachment that has me stumped.
  20. Thanks. Every time I try posting pics it says the file is to big with only 1 pic.
