Just messing around with scrap from a seat I'm making. Made a key chain fob for a buddy. He has a Nissan Cube he calls the to-go box. HO 8/9 leather, fiebings low voc, fiebings mahogany antique, cheap WM paint, tiger thread, edge kote, resolene, pecards.

Hey folks just wondering what yalls opinion is for glass/wood slicking the leather before starting, specifically figure carving using modeling spoons and such. Thanks!

Started off making chainmaille jewelry, got into making 11th Century style armor and wanted a pair of turn shoes. Found out after I made them, that black leather was extremely rare back then (whoops)... but yup... 1st leather project ever.

1st try at pyrography... used cheap HL "tooling leather"
