  1. Very nice work, very impressive!! Casey (minisaddlemaker)
  2. Here's a picture of the matching set. Just could not figure out how to post with the other picture. Need Johanna to take me by the hand and get it through my thick skull. Casey (minisaddlemaker)
  3. Alan, Here's a of picture of how I did it on a Main & Winchester the same style you are talking about. The detailed picture is of a miniature saddle that I made to match the full size one. I just stoped the swell cover in the center of the stirrup leather. And where the seat leather came over the ground seat it was just glued. You could also tack it to the ground seat. Hope this helps! 4. Hi, I looked up Leddy in the makers book and the only one I found was M.L. Leddy. They are the only Leddys listed. And they never had a shop in Abeline. Would be interested in seeing pictures so maybe I can do some more research for you. Well, not only you but now you have me wondering. Casey (minisaddlemaker)
  5. Rick, I've been looking through old auction catalogs because I thought this looked familiar. I remember seeing a boot jack that looked close to this. The one I found that looks close is from a Cody, Wyoming auction in 2005. It has the bent wood hoop like yours but it has a wood paddle you stand on instead of the handles. I don't know, they might just be different designs. I could be way off base too. Casey
  6. Can you cut out bit and spur parts? Sounds like you do fine work with satisfied customers. minisaddlemaker
  7. Butch, The best way to learn quick and cut down years of learning time is to go to a school. The best one I know of is Jesse Smith's school. He lives in Pritchett, Colorado and runs the school right there on his place. He used to teach saddle making at a college in Washington. He is a great saddle maker and a real nice guy that knows what he is doing. Hope this helps. Casey (minisaddlemaker)
  8. Bearman,

I like the miniature head knife. Is that something you make? What would something like that cost. I do a lot of miniature work and have to make some of my own stamps for the tooling.

    Thanks, Casey (minisaddlemaker)
