Here's a couple of pictures, one with some of my work and one with the family. The first one is at the Pro Rodeo Hall of Fame "Art of the Saddlemaker" show. Me with my John Wayne tribute saddle and chaps. Also on the top of the case on the left is my saddlebag purse and miniature saddle and headstall. Just below it on the floor (out of view) is a full size saddle to match the miniature. The other picture it was time to lighten the mood. My brother Levi, youngest son Kegan, daughter-inlaw Natalie, oldest son and grandson Quaid and Cameron, and me and my wife LeEllen. Notice the only one not smileing is Cameron who thinks he is headed for the floor. Casey

Here's my input: #1- I'm not up on koi pictures to give advice on the water. #2- I would bevel the clouds deep at the back and get more shallow as you get closer. The clouds on top of others should not be beveled the same depth. #3- The scales look great, I would not touch them. Scales are very thin and don't need to be beveled. Well that is my opinion, hope it helps. Casey

You might be on to something. I never thought of it, but it would be interesting to find out. Question: What is the difference between soy and beeswax? Just wondering since I use beeswax as part of my mustache wax. Casey

Very nice! I have never seen a popper put on like that, very neat. Could you post a picture of the popper ? I make a lot of poppers for one customer, but they all attach the same as the old way. Nice job! Casey

Try Ace hardware, they have all kinds of special hard to find rivits, screws, nuts, bolts.... I think I have bought some similar to these there. Casey

Very nice work. I like your pattern. The only thing that would make your pattern stand out more is if your background was darker, about the color of the knife handle. I have that problem sometimes too. Casey

I went to your website and your work is awesome! I do have a question. Have you set up at the "Festival of the West" here in Arizona? I met a lady there a few years ago and I was wondering if it was you. I remember being very impressed with her work. I'm not good with names, but I remember nice work when I see it. Casey

The NFR is about the only T.V. that I must see at all costs. I hope to be there in person next year, just couldn't make it this year with so many orders to get done. I have some of my work at the cowboy christmas on some cowboy hats. Thanks for the score sheets! Casey

Welcome CD! You'll find everyone is pretty helpful, just ask and you will get several answers. I wouldn't tell anyone you lived in Colorado though. (Just kidding I was born and raised there.) Casey

Oh, only a couple of months. I think 3 knifes for now is fine, but that won't last long. I think we all need a support group! We could all meet at Tandy - Bad idea!! Casey

Wait a minute! You only have 3 swivel knifes?? That's not enough. Is there is something lacking in your diet? You either need to get to a doctor or go buy more swivel knifes right away. Casey

One very important thing to keep in mind is what you will be using it on. I don't know what you make, but if it just small items you don't want a very big stamp. Pick a size that will work well on the majority of items you make. Hope this helps. Casey

I guess I will have to go with Jeff Mosby too. I have three from him and all are great. Good prices and the best quality. He can make almost any size you want. My smallest is 1/2" X 5/16" Casey (minisaddlemaker)

I made my cuts just like Don. If you get a chance take a look at some spur straps he has posted. The pattern I used was off an original Main & Winchester saddle. I like the pattern because there is so much background that the pattern stands out. Hours of backgrounding though. Casey
