  1. I do not remember sharing it. Sorry for the duplicate publication and thanks for your words.
  2. Hi. I found this forum looking for ideas and solutions for the preparation of falconry hoods, leather type consultation etc, I think I have a small debt that I have with all of you since I have learned a lot in these last months or year, I would like to contribute with a video that I had in an old youtube channel that uses for 2 videos, I was able to recover the account and as a small payment to have learned a lot in this forum I show you how to sew a hood of falconry. In case someone dares to make some one, the more difficult what else is to create the pattern or shape to cut because of what there is on the internet none of adapts well to the different types and sexes of birds of falconry, I think to have in Madrid the pattern of this, when I talk with my sister I ask her and send it to me, it's for a male hawk of the brookey suespecie (the mediterranean or Spain) ... Ok ok, inside video Sewing hood falconry Thanks for all yours helps and ideas.
  3. Hi leatherworkers , me again. Could someone explain to me how to put these buckles for rifle leash? Better if you know of a video where can see it because of my short understanding of English. Attached picture Thank you!!
  4. There is no reason why I did not camouflage the basket, in fact I was going to do it, but as it adapted well to the edge I decided not to use the C709 to finish. In short, I did not need it since there were no edge errors. The client / boss asked me not to put the belt loop on him, in fact does not use a belt and he'll keep the knife in a backpack. ***************************************** Speaking a bit more I say that there is a lot to improve but I am also limited by my cheap Chinese tools (I hope to replace them). Also I say that I re-sew to sewing with clean thread, the antique finish dirty it much in the first seam. What trick is to do to avoid this? Thank you.
  5. I want yo show you. Is finished, thanks to all people help me in the correspond thread.

    Sheath knife

Ok I'm here again I read (translate with goog ... all your comments), so I'll put $ 5 to the final price of this knife, ha ha. Thank you all of you. Hope answer all of you with this. The boss of the knife do not explain me exactly what he wan, just says me, make me a sheath for this knife, speaking with he we concluded with prolongation tipical of the bottom or back part of the handle, like this Picture 1 but not like that Picture 2 So my idea after seeing many pictures and some parts of Atkinson videos (long long videos, Ian cheers) is like a Sandwich or this Picture 3, and after I do the part for the extension of the handle. I think it's the best idea for this job because the guard top (middle moon of metal) is horrible. Thank you leatherworkers and I'll try to show off the finally job.
  10. Hello! Sorry my English, in Spanish called "porta picadas". A small case to put in little pieces of meat for falconry. Yes I do that after I'll up more pictures.

  12. Hello friends! I know that your are not here to think for me and make a sketch or develop an idea is hard and laborious. I have been asked to do this sheath work for this knife, the problem is the guard that's elevates it and I do not know what to do. Any ideas? Sorry I forgot, he wants all covered or near to the ball top. Put some images...
  13. Find this page several months ago and browsing through it I will find the blog of the workshop where I take classes to make these leather works. I also think that it is with an airbrush or printer, the truth that after translating from Chinese to Spanish does not come to find out how it did, maybe it is the best kept secret after the formula of coca cola ha ha ha.

  16. Hi!! Sorry for my Englis I'll try to explain me. I wanna do a little bag to put small pieces of meat inside to give for my falcon, for which when - "we flight" - after the flight and the bird is eating in the floor I approach to him and give a little meat to tolerate me and be friendnly. The meat probably is inside of the bag 30 minutes about, sure absorve the whet fluids of the meat and this dry it and possyble are a home for protozoas and bateria in the future if I don't treat it and clean. So, what I can apply (no toxic obviously) to do a layer in the leather for avoid this? I thought in beewax to be this an natural product, but is no liquid. You know an dye more liquid and 100% safe for toxic? Thanks for read me. XD

    Wrinkles!! >:(

So, is it because the skin is rolled up with the good part out side? I'll stretch it all flat and cover it to avoid dirt, but not before without rolled it some days with the good part inwards. I know that is being part of the neck of the cow is more prone to wrinkling. I'll probe hot water. Thanks to all!

    Wrinkles!! >:(

The leather part is the neck, I think that shoulder for English dialog
  23. Hello world!! Why did these wrinkles come out? Too much dye or too resolene, or not treat the leather before dyeing? Leather is cow vegetable. Cheers!!
