Thank you, I have checked quite a few post on holsters and have learned quite a lot of new stuff , I'm constantly looking for new Ideas... Im not one of those Arty types that can plop down a new design at the drop of a hat, it is still work for me but I enjoy it a lot. That's cool! Small world. Hope he is enjoying our "Furlow"

Hello Everybody!, I am Sooooo Glad I found this forum! Ive been searching the net for a little over a year looking for exactly this. Ive scaned Quite a few of your posts to see that you are friendly and helpful, My kinda people! Ok enough buttering up ...lol About me: Im 42, Married and happy ,and live in Palm Coast,Fl I am currently Employed at SeaRay Boats, as a Quality Inspector. Ive been Tattooing on the side for 10yrs. Last year i thought id try some leather work.... (Wife bought me Some tools At a flea market for a birthday present 2 years ago)... My Very first Leather project (wish i could find the pic of the completed motorcycle seat) My 1st toilet seat Last years Christmas Presents. 1st holster for my personal carry weapon Kahr PM40 IWB / Doubles as a pocket holster by removing the spring clip. I haven't done any leather working in a year (just bought our first house and moved). And I still have to clear out the garage, Find all my stuff, and set it up... But looking at all your post is Firing me up to get started again I welcome all questions and comments

Your dad had some talent, its a shame he stopped. I dont know if you thought of this, but You might want to clean those tools up, before touching new leather. Had some rusty ones my self ,once, and ended up with some nice brownish /red fingerprints and stray marks. (Grrrrr) When i first started I practiced on old leather belts from the flea market, thrift stores, and yard sales. and other stuff i could pick up cheap. Nobody ever buys them and u can usually get them pretty cheap. There is a lot of talent in this group.... And I learn from everyone.
