  1. I might have 2 of the missing parts that you need. I'm not sure if I have a spare tension piece. I'll have to check and get back to you. I'm in Toronto. Canada.
  2. Greetings People, I am looking for a part for a Junker & Ruh Sd 28 to complete a machine I'm restoring. Please refer to the pictures. Mine is damaged where it holds the needle so it can no longer hold a needle properly at the correct angle. If anyone is looking for other Junker Parts I may have them. I also carry new shuttles and bobbins if interested.
  3. Hi Stevoo, I just stumbled on this. I have new shuttles and bobbins available for your Junker & Ruh sd28 if you are still interested. The Shuttles are $350.00 USD each and the bobbins are $30.00 USD each plus shipping. I'm located in Toronto, Canada and have sent a number of these to Australia in recent years. In case you did buy a second machine for parts, I'm looking for a part missing from one of my machines. Let me know if interested. Cheers, Henry Veenhoven
  4. if anyone is interested in one of these machines I have a couple for sale. I’m located in Toronto, Canada. Tel: 416-231-1870 Cheers, Henry IMG_9807.mov
  5. Yes, they say they are going back to work today but there is 4 weeks of backlog mail so I think it will take a while to clear up the mess. Only in Canada!! I'll let you know when it seems to be back to normal. Maybe there will be a "new normal" after this nobody knows at the moment. Thanks, Henry
  6. Hi Constabulary, Your part is ever so slightly different, But I can certainly work with that. You are right, Our lovely Postal Service is on strike but yesterday the Government said they had to go back to work. Of course they have a lot of Xmas mail to catch up with so probably better to wait until that clears up. If you send me an Email at: thru2henry@gmail.com then we can swap details if that works for you. Hi Northmount, I've attached th pictures in JPEG format. I used an iphone which takes them this way for some reason. I'm sure there is a way to convert them on the phone but I haven't figured that out yet.
  7. Thank you. The outside diameter is 25 mm and the diameter of the inside hole with the flat side is 6mm. Do you have this machine and do you need anything yourself for such a machine?
  8. Greetings People, I'm searching for some parts for a Junker und Ruh SD28 sole stitching machine. Specifically the ones in the pictures. I also have brand new Shuttles and bobbins available if anyone is interested. For either the Junker Machines or the Pedersen no. 208 machines. They are essentially identical. I also have some other used parts available for these machines as well. If you can help in any way please let me know. And if there is interest in the shuttles or bobbins or other parts let me know. Thanks, Henry, Toronto, Canada
  9. I have one of these machines but it is still in the box it came in from a few years ago. Maybe I will make it my next project machine to see how it sews. I specialize in Restoring BUSM No. 6 machines and many parts appear to be the same, at least the screws. Mine has a complete treadle stand which is very attractive in itself. Thanks for the inspiration. I'll let you know in 2 weeks how I make out with it.
  10. A Landis no. 1 Shuttle will not work in BUSM No. 6. They are different sizes. If anyone wants a new Pearson no. 6 shuttle I have new ones in stock. They are $250.00US each and are complete and perfect. I supplied them to Aaron Martin. I also have new feet, rollers (long and short) that go into the front flywheel, needle bar thread tension plates and the thread lock plates (the ones at the top right part of the machine where the thread goes between them). I also have the little springs and screw for the shuttle cover. These are all new stock and are excellent. Feel free to contact me: Henry Veenhoven 416-231-1870 or veenhoven@sympatico.ca
  11. Greetings from the other side of the world, I just stumbled on this posting. You are the only person I have ever seen that has more Pearsons than I do. In case you or anyone else needs parts I have new shuttles and other wearing parts available. I also have Junker & Ruh SD 28 mchines available for sale and I also have new Shuttles and bobbins for those as well. In case anyone is interested. Thanks, Henry Veenhoven Toronto, Canada Tel: 416-231-1870 Email: veenhoven@sympatico.ca
  12. You have to read the whole listing. Shipping is as per weight and where you are located. I can't put anything else on Ebay;'s site becasue every location is different. That is why I state in big bold blue lettering to wait until I send you an invoice. That is the only way I can list it from Canada! They are not heavy so I am guessing between $10-20.00 depending on your exact location and which lot interests you.

  15. Hi Peggy, You are right, it is an insole stitcher. It is very rare but I have a couple myself that I bought in Europe. I don't know anything more about them than what you have discovered yourself unfortunately. If you do manage to dig up any other info please let me know. Thanks, Henry (in Toronto by the way). Hi, I just purchased a Junker & Ruh (SK) states it is made in Germany but this is an insole stitcher I believe as it has the horn on it. I have been looking online for more information and can't seem to find anything more than it was possibly made in Karlsruh, Durlach Baden, Germany. Would you happen to know about this machine or where I might find out more about it. I reside in Windsor Ontario and purchased this just recently in Kitchner. thanks
  16. Bump Greetings. I have two Randal Sewing machines for sale. They are right off the line at Freedman's Harness. How do they sew you may ask. Well I think the quality of the product says it all. Freedman's makes the finest harness in the world. Just go to: http://www.freedmanharness.com/ and browse through the harness section of the web site. All of the harness you see is either sewn by hand or with a Randal. What more can I tell you. These are surplus machines, hence they are for sale. If you want more pictures or a video clip of either one in action feel free to email me. The price is $3500.00 for either one. They come complete on a motorized stand with a bobbin winder that is also motorized. I can ship them anywhere or feel free to come and pick it up. If you have any questions please Email me. Email me Thanks, Henry Toronto, Canada

  20. Bill, For the foot marks feel free to sand/grind the corners of the foot so they are more wounded and polish the rounded corners. The foot is not involved in moving the leather, so it doesn't need the full footprint to achieve the pressure required to hold the work. There is a smaller foot available as well with a narrow slot so it is narrower than the standard foot you have. You might get one of those as well and then round the corners and you should be good to go after that. Cheers, Henry Contacted Tippman today and talked to Tom. He was very helpful and walked me through a couple things. Ended up, he thought the shuttle retainer may be the problem. So I ordered that to start with. Too scared to use the machine for now. It's really binding. Dennis, I talked to him about the presser foot. He said at one time they came out with the valve, but it caused other problems with the leather moving around. He suggested keeping the foot highly polished, and then rub out the marks. I may get a cobblers hammer like you have and try that. Bill
  21. Hi All, I'm looking for some shoemaking tools if anyone has extras or a good source, I'd love to hear from you. Specifically, I need Peg Floats, Burnishing Irons, and a Welt Creasing Wheel. Also, I'm desperately searching for a source for the finger shaped Clicker's Whetstones. Thanks, Jeff Jeff, Can you tell me what a clicker's Whetstone is? I may have it without knowing that that is what is called? I tried a Google search but didn't have any luck. Thanks, Henry
  22. Does anyone out there have a Tippmann Aerostitch machine (with reverse) that they are interested in selling? Have machines to trade in you looking for a good skiving machine or will just buy it outright if preferred. Thanks, Henry Veenhoven 416-231-1870 Email me
  23. Why not buy the original one that Weaver scammed from: the Lucris MA SeriesIII press. They are $1450.00 and fully adjustable for leather thickness and die height. There system/machine is also pattened in case you are wondering and they have made it since 1999 I believe. Also it is better made than the Weaver knock-off: cast iron rather than plate steel. I have sold these since 2001 and have sold at least 250 of these machines to 200 different industries. If you have any questions just ask. Thanks, Henry 416-231-1870 Email me My link
  24. Say, Henry, who should I contact about acquiring one of these clickers to be shipped to Peru? I can sell you one of these machines. I have shipped them as far away as Italy and Abu Dhabi so Peru should be no less challenging I suspect. Feel free to Email me address details and I will try and find out a shipping cost for you. Cheers, Henry Veenhoven Email me My web Site 416-231-1870
  25. Does anyone have one like this for sale, and can beat this price? If not for sale, does anyone have experience with these clickers? Is 1900 a fair market price? This Atom has a control for the left hand with 3 buttons, and a control on the right for the right thumb only What do the three buttons on the left hand control do? Thanks! That price is a bargain. Usually they sell for $3500-4000.00. I have one and they they are fantastic. Mine doesn't have the left 3 button controp thing so I can't speak to that. You can get a manual from Michael Simard here in Canada. Cheers, Henry Veenhoven Toronto, Ontario
