Dear Friends I am going to pick up a very neat PFAFF 1245 tomorrow. Got it for 300 euros and it looks to be in mint condition. As expected it is fitted with a clutch motor, which I intend to replace with a servomotor. Could any of you possibly tell me, what kind of bracket is needed for attaching a synchronizer to the handwheel. I suspect it will be slightly more complicated, since the handwheel belt pulley is inward of the the hand wheel itself. Kind regards Danish Man

I came across a skiving machine, but I have never heard of the brand - PAFFA. I presume it is German. Anybody who has heard of this brand? Cheers DanishMan

Dear Friends I managed to sell my two vintage skiving machines. Both will have new lives in professional shops. I recently came across another skiving machine, which appears to have been painted at some time. There are no names or numbers on it. It has no foot pedal, and I believe, that the modified plastic wheels are used to change speed of the feed wheel. Perhaps any of you, can help me establishing the brand. Kind regards Danish Man

This one is for sale in Denmark. Any idea, what this machine is used for and what a realistic price is? I am asking on behalf of a man who is selling a bunch of machines for a friend, who has gotten seriously ill. Pfaff 335 BB (older model) experience?
DanishMan replied to plinkercases's topic in Leather Sewing Machines
Hi Dikman I recently bought a 335 H2L B17 exactly like yours - also with the manual thread tension release lever. Thank you for your effort in sorting things out. It will be of great help to me. I will probably fit a rod and make it work like normal. Brgds Danishman -
Dear Friends I am looking for an accessory plate for a PFAFF 335 H2 machine. Anyone that has one for sale? Kind regards Danishman

I have three - two are for sale. I sell them relatively cheap - around 350 euros - 220 volts - and working fine.

Thank you Jimi. I only cleaned it and replaced some rusty parts with parts from my wrecked skiver. I put a foil on the table and used a metal plate to protect the foil. It is an old machine with knife and feed wheel moving together. The other Dania machine I have for sale, is a very nice machine with two speed. It is actually a very good machine. How many skiving machines do you have? Brgds Soren

PFAFF 145 needle adjustment in feed dog
DanishMan replied to DanishMan's topic in Leather Sewing Machines
I have adjusted the feed dog, and this does not solve the problem. If I move the feed dog further to the left, it will touch the needle plate. -
PFAFF 145 needle adjustment in feed dog
DanishMan replied to DanishMan's topic in Leather Sewing Machines
Hi - It is not really the feed dog position, which is the problem. I have adjusted that beforehand. Do you have experience with these machines. Og hvor bor du? Mvh Søren -
Dear Friends I have been struggling to adjust a PFAFF 145. The main problem is, that the needle is not centered in the feed dog. It is to the very left. I have tried to adjust the needle bar frame, but it is not possible as it pivots around the position bracket. Secondly the machine get very rigid at the top needle position, and I have a feeling, that this might be connected to the other problem. Any ideas? Hi Jimi. I replaced the bobbin case cap and moved the bobbin finger slightly - and suddenly it started working. Hope everything is well.

Dear Friends I recently took a PFAFF 543 apart and assembled it again. I timed the hook, but I have a problem, when the thread meets the bobbin finger. It will not pass and it ends with a jam. I tried to adjust the bobbin finger position, but this has no effect. Any idea on how to solve this problem? Brgds DanishMan

Hi Katit Could you please give me update, on which parts you need. Brgds DanishMan

I think I have the part, you mention. I will check it tomorrow, when I get home. Brgds DanishMan

I mentioned the vibrating pressure foot lifting height, which is probably not correct for sewing machine with roller feed. What I intended to ask was the maximum thickness to be sewed.

Altso this one? What does the 4 indicate?
